INTRODUCTION
Darkness from every part of the world, vast, unforseen distances. The colour of the sky wasn't all you know, but was blood red, the earth you know, was filled with water, the life you feel, was void, your existence was void, until now.
The dust of the ground, gathered around, and gradually formed the figure of a man, starting from the feet. The Man felt weak at the leg and staggered, falling to the ground, his eyes glowed white, he felt himself, placing his hands on his face, felt how solid as well built he was, and gradually rised and took his first step.
He sighed with no former knowledge, all was strange to him, from afar, he saw a glowing rock standing about 30 feet in height, and advanced towards it, he felt something attracted his soul and walked on, looking closely, he placed his hands on it, and noticed the staff standing right inbetween the rock, and effortlessly jammed his hands against the rock, parting it into two halves, he crawled up and grabbed the staff, which had a glowing stone on it, twisted into the staff.
"Jeki imole wa (Let there be light) " He said and watched as the staff glowed more brightly, slowly the sky began to brighten up, a big bright ball began to form and another ball some distance away.
He looked up and stretched the staff up.
"The greater light should rule for the day, while you should rule at the latter" He said, and fire came out from the staff striking the lesser light.
" I am Supreme, I am Obatala, let the ground bring forth it's offspring, the the water gather and bring forth it's offspring" He said, swinging his staff from one end to another, as thunder struck in the sky, clashing against each other, volcanoes became active, blowing up angrily, the ground shook furiously.
He swayed his staff, as huge clay human like himself rised from the dust, in large number by his right, he swayed the staff again as another clay rised in human form, but of average height.
"These shall be my children, the gods and man, we shall fill the face of the earth" He shouted, raised his staff in the air and jammed it on the ground.
White lines formed on the ground, each attached to every clay, and connecting back to the staff, while Obatala's eyes shone brightly.
"Let there be life"

CHAPTER ONE
A boy ran among the thick woods panting heavily, with a spear on his right hand, he jumped over fallen log of Trees, looking by his left was a big boar,  screeching and running ahead of him, without hesitating, he jumped into the air, twisting his body easily, he threw the spear at the boar, in an instance, it fell to the ground, rolling off, and clashed against a tree.
The boy walked to it and placed his leg on the dead boar and pulled out his spear and knelt down before it.
"Let dust return to dust, let mercy guide the just, let the afterlife be pleasurable" He said and effortlessly raised the boar up and hanged it on his shoulder.
----
Obatala stood some few meters away, looking at the two young gods that fought against each other.
"Ogun, your stance needs improvement, your footwork is pathetic" He shouted and clinched his fist together.
The wooden frame door that led to the compound suddenly came open, as the boy with the boar, entered with his back and used his feet to close back the door.
"See what, the hunter has brought, Sango, my thunder lord" Obatala said with much gladness.
"Let me help you " Ogun offered laying down his rod and helped Sango to bring down the boar.
FWWIIIPPP a rod from nowhere stucked into the body of the boar, drawing everyone's attention to where it has come from.
"Esu, that's rude of you" Sango said slowly and rised to his feet.
"Says who? " Esu asked and pushed Sango on the chest making him stagger backward.
"Hey" Ogun stood up also in defense and pushed Esu on his chest.
Esu smiled wickedly and raised his hands to the sky, suddenly everywhere began to go dark, and a strong wind followed.
Ogun on the other hand, knelt down and placed both hands on the ground and turned into metal.
"Enough " Obatala shouted, his voice echoing with the sound of thunder, and immediately everyone calmed down.
"Go home" He said and most immediately everyone disappeared from his presence.
He sighed and placed his hands on head and took three step forward and faded into the air.
Obatala sat on his throne, which illuminated brightly, only the gods could look straight at it, his staff in his hand, while he watched the council of elders arguing within themselves.
"There is no point in it, the humans should at least have a say in this matter, at least we are the only ones possessing this earth" A lady said.
"Silence" Obatala finally spoke looked round the continued "If they want to split, I think we should let them" Obatala said and continued "It might be the best for everyone".
"That's wrong, I Osun, keeper of the sea, and I speak on behalf of My mistress, Yemoja, that we strongly forbid your action" Osun said banging her fist hard on the golden table before her.
"We shall put this to a vote, tomorrow" Obatala said and disappeared from their midst.
---
Obatala sat down before the dining table, sitting with his sons, Ogun by his right, Sango by the left, while Esu was directly sitting before him.
"Father, I heard about, what the humans were delineating on" Sango said and threw a piece of meat in his mouth.
"Stupid humans,  father has given them much free will than they should have "Esu said and drank from his calabash and continued.
"When I rule, I will make them build a statue to my name, make them work thier bones out, force sense into them" He said and drank again.
"That's why you will never be a King, even in million years to come " Ogun replied angrily.
"How dare you? " Esu shouted angrily and shapeshifted into Obatala.
"You are a mongrel, god of mischief, that suits you better" Sango said and laughed.
Obatala on the other hand, was confused as to what to say, frustrated as his children argued and threatened themselves.
Esu stood up and grabbed his chair and with force slammed it on Sango's head, Ogun quickly turned into metal and somersaulted into the air and slammed his leg on Esu's neck, Sango stood up and raised his hands up, summouning his Axe, which came with thunderbolt, then settled with fire.
Esu rised and shapeshifted, his right half, taking up Sango's body and weapon, and the left half, taking up Ogun's metal body.
"Enough!! " Obatala shouted and stamped his staff on the ground, and rised, with his eyes glowing, hot red.
"Disperse, we settle this tomorrow, Sango, meet me in my chambers" Obatala said and waved his staff, and the scattered room, began to arrange itself, taking its former position. He looked at them as they panted heavily and walked out.
CHAPTER TWO
Sango pushed the door that led into his father's chamber, he stood for a while, seeing Obatala was sitting on his mat with his eyes closed
"Sit beside me" Obatala said with his eyes still closed.
Sango positioned himself beside his father, both legs stretched out, and rested his back on the bamboo bed.
"What does a leader put first before anything" Obatala asked and faced Sango.
"His people, followed by his dignity" Sango replied and adjusted himself.
Obatala smiled and placed his hand on Sango's leg.
"you are the eldest, yet I don't see you possessing those qualities of a leader I want" Obatala said, and continued "You might be the people favourite, which annoys Esu, as little as he seems, he is probably the wisest and strongest among you, that's what am really scared of" Obatala said and sighed heavily and continued "I want you to promise me, you will lead these people with truth and justice"
"Is not like you are dying anytime soon, even you are a grand Lord, gods don't die" Sango replied smiling at his father.
"Many things you still don't understand " Obatala said and opened his right palm, as it shined brightly and slowly died down revealing a stone in his hand.
"What's that? "
"Divinity, take swallow it" Obatala said and rised to his feet.
The divinity stone served a scared purpose, only a chosen leader by Obatala could posses it, a purpose to show the totality of a ruler.
Sango received it and looked at his father before putting it in his mouth. Obatala placed a hand on his shoulder and the other on his stomach and made both hands shine brightly.
"The land I call,  the wind I call, the sea and the mountain, I the supreme has chosen, I, the supreme has decided, let my spirit be on him,  let him a mountain no egg can come against, let him be like a battalion, no man dear face, let him trample his enemies with great destruction, so have I said" Obatala chanted and sighed and smiled at Sango.
"You are fortified" He said and was about uttering another word, then a knock came at the door.
"Great one, the council of gods, summouns your presence " The voice came from behind the door.
"Meet me there" Obatala said and suddenly disappeared with Sango.
----
Esu stood before every gods, his club on his right hand, he stared at Obatala and then back to his brothers and spoke.
"I have come to let you know, am going away from among you" Esu said and turned his back to leave.
"Brother" Ogun called and look with a questioning look "Why? "
"I need to build my own life, get my own nation "
"But there is no one out there, excepting us" Sigidi, god of the dust, said and rised.
"I know, I am not alone, I have followers, you can also join" Esu smiled and rested his club on his shoulder.
Sango looked at his father and stared deep into his eyes.
"Father, this madness happens before you and you speak not" Sango queried and sighed
"I have decided to split this kingdom, among the three of my sons" Obatala said and suddenly was standing at the exit of the hall.
"Meet me at the announcement square"
One after the other, each gods appeared behind Obatala, and also every human began to gather in groups, till the whole square was filled.
"Today, another journey begins for us all" Obatala shouted and stayed his staff to the ground
"My sons becomes a Lord of their own " Obatala said again, and bent down before the man before him, still was still taller than him.
"Today you choose your leader" He said and rised "To the left, if you will follow Esu to wherever he goes, to my right hand, if you decide Sango as your ruler and before me, if you so wish Ogun should lead you to victory. "
Everyone roared inaudible words, as to the sudden decision, Ogun walked up to his father and held him by the arm.
"Father this is madness, we are good as we are"
"What must be done, must not be delayed" he replied and watched as the humans divided themselves into three different parts.
"The gods should also fall in place" Obatala said and turned to look at the numerous gods behind him.
CHAPTER THREE
Ogun tightened the red piece of cloth he used on his left arm, his knife between his mouth, and looked back at Sango.
"One last when hunt brother" Ogun said and smiled at Sango.
Sango smiled back and put on his cloth, which had snails shell decorated in it, and summoned his axe.
"Don't you think we should invite Esu, at least he is a brother" Sango said, following behind Ogun.
"No, father should have rolled his head off when he first turned the gods again each other" Ogun replied and struggled through the thick forest.
"That's harsh, I hope he doesn't cause more problem in future times" Sango replied, slashing his axe against bushes by his sides.
"Alala, hasn't even seen anything of recent, seems he his going blind" Sango said again and  they both busted into laughter.
-----
Esu gently placed a knock on Obatala's door, after minutes of not hearing any voice or signal to come in he turned to leave then halted and turned around facing the door and entered into the room.
Beside the bed, was the supreme staff laying on the ground, at first Esu didn't bother looking at it, until he started hearing low whisper coming from the orb on the staff.
"Come closer, my precious"
"Who's that? " Esu said trying not to be convinced the staff spoke.
"Here"
He heard the voice again and walked towards the staff and knelt down beside it. His eyes suddenly turned blue as he stared at the staff, and was about holding it, just then a voice came behind him.
"That's sacred" Obatala said and stretched his hand towards, making the staff to slowly fade away.
"I heard that thing speak" Esu said and pointed to the floor, where the staff was.
"Maybe an illusion, why are you here, you should be preparing your troop"
Esu knelt down before his father and held tight to his Leg.
"I need your blessing" Esu said faintly.
Obatala sighed repeatedly and raised Esu up, with a sad motion, he stared at Esu, he never knew such could come from him, but here it was already to late.
"I already gave them all to Sango" Obatala replied, staring at Esu.
"He has the stone in him, it was always clear you loved him better" Esu said and walked to the door.
"I will never forgive anyone, I won't rest, I won't relent" Esu replied and faked a smile from the corner of his lips.
"Wait, I might have something to offer"
Esu turned around looking serious on his face
"Which is? "
"You can change the world"
Esu smiled and replied.
"That's what I am about doing, every generation will know who I am, I will demand from who does not have, I will certainly chew more than I can take. "
------
Returning back to the village Sango threw the deer on his back to the ground while Ogun, threw the huge snake lifeless snake to the ground and laughed out loudly..
"I am leading my people West, I have surveyed it well, has enough water, and green pasture with favourable soil" Ogun said and gathered the palm frond leaves together and moved back as Sango snapped his finger, making spark of fire at the foamy last of the leave which turned into smoke.
"South, it's has same thing as yours, have you considered a name for you city" Sango asked, patiently waiting for Ogun who blew air from his mouth at the smoke.
"Itedo Ayo" Ogun replied and resumed blowing at the smoke he raised his face up,  revealing his eyes already made red.
"What about yours " Ogun asked and resumed blowing.
"Ayenireti " Sango replied  and knelt down before Ogun and joined him in blowing the fire.
-----
Esu silently walked into Obatala's room, trying to be as silent as possible looking around he knew this was his perfect chance. He walked towards the staff and grabbed it tightly and stared at the red orb on it.
The stuff began to glow, as Esu's eyes began going blue.
He gasped as the staff glowed brighter like his soul was sucked in, he protruded his chest and clinched tight to his teeth.
The staff suddenly flew out from his grip, feeling exhausted, Esu fell to the ground, sweating hard.
"What did you just do? " Obatala asked from behind and gripped the staff.
"What did I just see?"
"Your future, not so promising after all" Obatala replied.
"So you knew my future after all that's why you gave Sango your blessing" Esu said and stood up.
"There is always room for redemption " Obatala said and tried walking towards him.
"Stop right there, no redemption anywhere, you all will scrub the floor with your nose and wish you had killed me all this while" Esu said and disappeared from before his father.

CHAPTER FOUR
Three days on search of better settlement, even the body of the gods had to bow to nature. Ogun looked up at the sun, without dimming his eyes, and wondered how his brothers were also doing.
"Mawu (Goddess of the sun), dim your glory, if Sango is doing well and Esu also" He said still looking up.

Ogun turned to look at the humans and gave a radiant smile before he spoke.
"We had found our settlement, Erinle, will split you all into group let's join hands together and get things done"

Sango feeling pleased, his three days journey hasn't proved useless, he smiled and bent down to wash his face from the river behind him, the settlement he discovered was what he described as perfect, to the east was very green pasture, the west had a running river, what more could get have wished for.

Like sunset, many years had gone by, each gods building their kingdoms, physically,  mentally, emotionally and even in the business sector. Like sand on the shore, human and gods and even Demi gods alike, they all increased in great number, but as they increased, so did the wickedness and selfishness among them increased soiling their integrity with oil.
Sango walked behind his beloved brother Ogun and hugged him tightly and smiled.
"Thanks for believing in me" Sango said and continued to walk on.
"For over a century, we've stood by one another, I'll always support you, but the matter if the scavengers that always attack my people while coming to trade in your city, is becoming unbearable, for the main time, we should have no business transaction between both kingdoms" Ogun said.
"I respect your intelligence on politics and business, but you know my city depends on you, for the time being, we are still recovering from what Esu did to us" Sango replied almost with a shaky voice.
Ogun looked at the sun for a while and sighed heavily, then spoke.
"But everytime we try, we are ambushed, and I will not want to belief Esu has something to do with it, at least Aje(goddess of wealth) already took sides with him, and from what I heard, their food store, could last all three major kingdoms for seven years". Ogun replied.
"I have source, that beliefs it's the work of the Demi god's, ambushing your traders,"
"I blame our fellow gods, that allowed their lust for mere humans bring trouble if Demi gods upon us."
"Our collective effort should drive them away"
"I will personally escort the traders to your city in two moon time" Ogun replied and smiled at his brother.
"Thank you brother, I must leave now" Sango replied and thunderbolt cracked from his body.
"Farewell"
The wind slowly gathered around him, and turned into human form, revealing Ayao.
"You summouned me" Ayao said looking at Sango.
"Goddess of the air, please convey me back to Ayenireti" Sango said and in an instance he was lifted up into the air and flew towards his destination.
-------
Esu suddenly jumped off from his bed, sweating hard, by his right was Yemoja, laying naked beside him, he stood up, removing the wrapper that covered His body and walked towards the exit of the room.
"Are you alright? " Yemoja asked, still laying on the bed.
"I had a nightmare" He said and walked to where the water calabash laid and dipped his hands into it and curved it before bringing it up and placing his mouth to ɗrink from his palm.
"Gods don't have nightmares, a warning maybe" She replied and turned aside a bit allowing her to see Esu clearly.
"It's something I have seen before" He said and walked out of the room.
Esu walked up to his throne, which he had the best of his human architect carve out from the cave, the overall structure of the cave layout by his architect was overwhelming.
Feeling comfortable in the throne, he relaxed himself and sighed. Yemoja followed suit, still naked, she sat on his laps and cuddled her head on his chest.
""It's till long before day break" She said and trailed her fingers on his chest.
"Tomorrow, I'll be seeing my brothers again, I wish I could avoid going for the peace talk" Esu said and sighed again.
"Why have you develop such hatred for them? "
"It's family ties" He replied and had his hands on her thighs and lifted her up, then gently positioned her on his throne.
Yemoja moaned softly, has she wrapped her legs around his waist. Esu smiled at her, and kissed her slowly, and slowly moved his mouth towards her breast stopped midway and spoke.
"Tomorrow, will definitely set a pace for competition" He said and breathed on Yemoja's body making her wriggle in pleasure.
---------
Obatala spinner his staff on his hand and made it fade away, as Orunmila walked up to him, sitting at the highest peak of the mountain.
"You have now made here your home" Orunmila said and sat beside him.
"Yes, my sons are gone, the city is dried, I over watch from here" Obatala replied and looked up at the sun
"Thanks to Mawu, who is still giving hope"
"They are all coming tomorrow, that alone should bring you joy" Orunmila replied
"You act like you don't know tomorrow,  will mark the beginning of terrible days to come" Obatala replied. And continued "We all existed together, just you needed someone to bare the staff, which was me, we are both divinity, and even you Orunmila knows better than I do"
Orunmila looked at the sun also, and smiled not finding the right answer, he looked at Obatala again and replied.
"Let nature work according to its will, things will sort themselves out"

--------------------------The Traveller-------------------------
Daniel walked through the walkway of the devastated hospital, a blindfold around his face, nutter tools in both hands.  He sniffed into the air, and placed his hands on both sides of the wall as he walked slowly and steady.
-------
The Leviathan group will stop at nothing to get back to the past and retrieve the emblems.
--------
"I have been blind from birth"

"I am Remi, consider the proposal of joining the team am putting together"
"I'm sorry, you made a mistake coming here"
"The same way you made a mistake of telling those at the past that you are from the future, time has its own repercussions"
-------
Daniel jumped out from the portal, exhausted, the past had really changed him, grey hairs on his head, he slowly opened his palm and felt relieved, seeing the emblem.
"I believe that belongs to me" Leviathan said and bent down facing Daniel.

CHAPTER SIX
Obatala himself stood at the gates of the city, feeling honored, it's being more than a century he has felt as lively as this, even for the fact that his creatures Now quickly progressed and filled the surface of the earth.
His joy knew no bound seeing his three sons from afar, he stamped his staff to the ground, making the earth shake lightly.
"Your father looks happy" Esu said and smirked, seeing the broad smiles on his brothers face.
"So am I, you've grown so full of hatred, you didn't felt a thing when we met at the crossroad, I should have killed you when I had the chance" Sango said and looked at Esu with thunder cracking up his arm.
Esu smiled and walked past him, without uttering a word.
-------
Obatala sat on his throne, and rised to give a warm speech.
"Welcome, everyone, from my precious humans, to the Demi god's, who are a product of love, a love that proves a god could fall in love with a mere mortal "
"That's why they have been living like flee" Esu shouted from where he sat, and raised his calabash up"
All demi gods eye fell directly on him, and cursed beneath the breath.
"Yet they posses great powers, even we the gods don't have" Sango replied and smiled.
"And to the gods, who have faithfully stood by their Lords, and to my sons".
Esu rised to his feet and turned around, then around again facing Obatala.
"When do we have the peace talk? " He said and suddenly a force sent him against the last pillar in the hall.
Everyone went silent, and quickly all gods appeared in defense before the lords.
"You are a disgrace to our lineage, a bastard of the soil" Orunmila thundered and raised his hands up, choking Esu tightly in the neck.
Kokou(god of war), jumped into the air, stretching his arms, as two swords formed from them and rotated in the air, in an attempt to to strike Orunmila.
A thunderbolt suddenly sent him crashing to the ground, Sango alongside his gods and Ogun's, ran up and gathered round Orunmila.
"Orunmila, let him be" Obatala said and placed his hand on Orumila's shoulder.
Esu gasped for air, as he felt relieved and slowly struggled to his feet.
Ori appeared among them, and looked round with his face, flaring up in hot flames, he looked at the Demi god's, and then to Esu.
"As from today, I with the supreme power bestowed in me, declare you as an outcast, a bastard of the land, is from today, you shall toil in sand, your lands shall be barren, your sweat shall not favour you in pain shall you succeed" Ori said and stretched his hands.
"Bow to the humans and the Demi god's for this scene you made" Orunmila thundered, as everywhere became chilled.
Esu hesistate for a while, and bent down, after some minutes rised up, with stream of tears running down his face.
He looked at his father, as tears continued down his face, Casted out from among his brethren, cursed to be awful, in a twinkle of an eye his life was upside down.
"When you close your eyes, do so with care, when you breath, do so with care, watch your back, cause I will harm all of you " Esu said and turned into thick black smoke and disappeared alongside his supporting gods.
