INTRODUCTION
YEAR 3035
Evolution has gone even beyond the human capacity, their advancing technology has it has enough good coin so also the evil coin. A new technology was discovered, one that changed the human life, one that changed and also gave hope to humans.
Another world where human could live, a technological world, how it was discovered no one knows, but all the same it was better that way, as long as it means survival. But then this new world had a lot of competition. A world we call THE IRON SANCTUARY.
In this world, you could live up to a half of a thousand years, for a beginner who hasn’t leveled up. The highest live rate discovered was that of Leader of the Metal Lord Clan, who boasted of a fifteen thousand life.
At age of eighteen the system allowed you to join the IRON SANCTUARY, considered that the human body could easily adapt to change without tearing apart. Everyone had a Transfer Sanctuary Machine, that took them into the other world.
In this world you have to compete, grow, build, and if possible, you die, and never to return to this world, more benefit of this world, was you could make good money, from hunting, to being a machinery, to being a fighter, to the level up and build your machine to a greater level, for better chance of survival. Getting more Metal Point means, upping your power, Getting more Metal Scrap, means upgrading your iron metal suit, getting more Metal Geno, means having more life to live.
This sanctuary is a world with different sub world, each sub world, has a clan, and each clan, has the best among the best.
WELCOME TO IRON SANTUARY

Chapter one.
Mide had his dagger in between his teeth and with almost all the strength in him, he pulled himself up the mountain and remained still on the ground panting heavily. He was done with eating metal ant, that only minute metal point to his iron power. But this time he was determined to go far, even though his dagger found it hard to penetrate the back of the metal ant, even eating two hundred metal ants won't add a point to his metal point, what was the point.
He really envied the likes of Dannegro, leader of the sun clan, how lucky the baatard must have been, well rumors had it Dannegro is from a rich family in the other life, so he could easily get what he wanted.
Mide gained enough strengthen and stood on his feet, all he hoped for was not to come across a metal beast that would run him down, surely he stood no chance, his dagger was almost equal to useless.
He noticed a rock moved,at first he paid no attention, looking round the vast mountain, he cursed himself within, regretting why he had wasted his time, climbing up such height. The rock made another sound, which got Mide's attention, looking closer, he noticed it was not jut any rock, it was similar to a metal ant, just that it looked different and rough, a normal metal ant was brown, while this one he saw was ash, camourflaging with the mountain color.
He held tight to his dagger and knelt down, raised his dagger up and in one swift strike, the ant was cut into two.
"Mountain Dweller killed, one metal point recieved, Santuary Machine leveled up"
Mide eyes widened on hearing those words within his mind, who would believe something so weak in strength compared to the iron ant and still had much value. He quickly brought out his bag and began slashing every mountain dweller ant he came across and filled the nag with them. He would probably sell them and get money to buy more upgrade for his suit. Since no one knew about Moutain Dweller ant and its source, he could sell one for five thousand naira in Fire Sanctuary.

CHAPTER TWO
Getting to Fire Sanctuary, Mide made sure no one noticed him, after all the sanctuary had more than a million people and more than 30 clans, no one would notice him. But he should have known he was wrong, he had become more popular almost more than Dannegro.
Mide opened the sewer lid and looked around making sure no one saw him, he slid himself in and continued till he came in face with a wooden door and went in. Withou thinking twice, he emptied the bag, making his hunt spill to the ground.
He smiled to himself and threw three more mountain dwellers into his mouth.
"One metal point received" the voice said within him three times and stopped counting when he threw another into his mouth.
He smiled feeling satisfied with what he has, even though the point stopped counting, at least his three months in the sanctuary had not gone in vain, he now has four metal point, altough it wouldnt save his soul from other beast, it was something, the next thing was to find a means of selling it, without people knowing he is involved.
He transformed into his metal which was badly shaped and rusty, not minding, with time he was certain, things would turn out good, if he could do what others didnt think off. He admired himself and noticed he had grown a bit stronger than the former, and packed the hunt into his bag and headed out to the Sanctuary market.
CHAPTER THREE
Mide found himself a spot, not to far from the entrance of the market and displayed his sales, laying the tiny rock on the floor. Hoping someone would willingly walk up to him, he felt relieved when a metal ball rolled up to him and stopped ruggedly, then transformed into a humanbot, as they were called when in their metal form.
"Hey scrapper, whats this?" The green humanbot having a squared head asked and kicked Mide on the leg.
"Mountain dwellers, they add one Metal point" Mide replied and looked away.
"Lie" the green humanbot replied and bent down, picked one and chewed it up.
His face brighthened at the voice he heard within himself.
"Only four could give you point" Mide said again and packed them into his bag.
"Hey scrapper, how much for all?" The humanbot asked with greed fully written on his face.
"Fifty thousand naira or a A level metal upgrade" Mide replied and stood up.
The humabot squeezed his face and wwondered why the boy would want to take advantage of him, after much waiting he finally gave in.
"Wire me your account" the humanbot finally said and pressed a button on his hand, showing a number button, and swiftly he typed in the amount.
Mide looked at his hand and smiled seeing the money was successfully transfered and handed over the bag to him.
"Whats your name"
Mide only grinned and shook his head in disaproval
"Okay no problem, my name is Scar, just ask around the market, let me know when you have more scared metal meat" the humanbot said and walked away and aat the same time pulled the meat bag into his robot metal bag.
Getting back to his home, Mide changed off his humanbot and entered into his TRANSFER SANCTUARY MACHINE, it was time to return to the main world and make more deal.

CHAPTER FOUR
Immediately Mide came out of the sanctuary, he splited the money into two halves, one was going directly into his sister's education fund. Education had become so costly in this era, it was already concluded it wasn't for all, but as the only guardian he had to make sure his sister had the best.
Looking out through the kitchen window, Mide sighed on seeing the competition Autobot bill board, if only he had enough power up to go into the competition. Or if all the cash he made were not to be splited into halves.

after filling himself, Mide headed back to his room and entered into the TRANSFER SANCTUARY MACHINE and powered back into Iron Sanctuary.
Getting back Mide grabbed his dagger, he knew going places where no one looked had a better chance od getting something tangible. But first he had to upgrade himself. Getting to the main huge gate of the sanctuary, he suddenly felt a hand push him roughly and fell hard to the tiled ground.
"Scum bag"
Mide looked up and pulled himself up, and looked at the person that pushed him and quickly his anger died down, seeing who it was.
Rush, as he is popularly called, well built body frame and having different scars running through his face, grinned at him alongside his gang of seven men.
"Scum, didnt i warn to never cross part with me?" Rush said and pushed Mide on the Chest, making him stagger against the gate.

Mide had no option than to comply with how rush handled him. The first week Mide entered the sanctuary, he had made himself popular, the unfortnate event had made people avoid him like pile of dirt, his first two days during the welcome feast the of the Golden Clan, Mide while walking aimlessly had mistakenly poured a plate of hot meat on Rush head, while Rush was seated, trying to clean up his body, Mide mistakenly scracthed Rush and the shoulder, making him screan out loud, making everyone in the hall burst into laughter, which Rush had considered humiliating, since then Rush had made sure nobody had anything to do with Mide and no one dears go against the order of someone as powerful as Rush.
"Rush, let's go we still have a Dragon metal to hunt" one of Rush follower said and led the way.

CHAPTER FIVE
Mide straighthened his jacket and sighed in relief as he watched Rush and his men went out of the gate. He paused and smiled as the word Dragon metal rang in his head. He hurriedly made his way to the market, paid for a level one metal blade and from distance, he followed the Golde clan, all he had in mind was to hijack their hunt probably the opportunity would come through.
Stopping distance away from where the clan stood, he hid himself behind a rock and watched as Rush led his men into the mouth of the cave. He turned into his humanbot and got ready in case of necessity. He took one disgusting look and caused himself, a level one blade would barely scracth the body of a beetle mouse, but all the same.

Mide suddenly ccame back to reality, as he heard cry of agony  coming out from the cave, he peeped from where he was and saw all Golden clan running out from the cave as fast as their humanbot body could carry them.
Rush humanbot came out last, having huge barrle on the hands of his humanbot and fired repeatedly at the cave, and slowly retreated.
"Fire this bitch, its almost dead" Rush shouted and turned to look at his clan men, only to see tthem running away. He felt raged and another gun barrel came out from the shoulder of his humanbot shooting furiously at the cave.
Mide eyes widened at the strong fire power, Rush possessed and at the same wwhat kind of beast could withstand such, Mide's heart gladened thinking it could be a rare one.
 A metal dragon flew from the cave, roaring with rage, it used its broken wing to throw Rush out of its part, while it struggled to fly, with it broken wing, flapping it wings which made it unstable, it flew towards Mide's ddirection.
Mide eyes opened wide, seeing the creature come at him and quickly he attempted to dive into safety.
Rush geared himself up and ran up towards the creature, and one after the other his clan gathered around and followed behind.
Mide struggled up to hi feet and jumped on the back of the metal dragon and drove his blade into the soft part of the neck.
"30 metal point gained, 3 metal scrap upgrade,, 17 metal geno gained"
Mide's joy knew no bound, on hearing the voice in his head, which means his power was now upped to thirty he could upgrade his humanbot and even more strength.
Without hesitating, he found strength within himself to life the dragon on his back and began running with all his strength, before he could become weak.
Rush stopped looking confused and it dawned on him, someone had double crossed him.
"Kill that bastard, bring him down" Rush shouted and made the huge barrel on the hand of his humanbot come out and launched a shot at who ever it was.
The blast threw Mide off, but thanks to his increased strength, he quickly picked up the dragon and continued, leading the into a thick forest.
Rush screamed loudly, making the veins on the neck of his humanbot, shot out forcefully.
"Find that bastard".


CHAPTER SIX
Mide made sure, everywhere was dark and silently cane out from where he his himself from Rush and his clan men, knowing fully well, the security at the Sanctuary will be doubled, he took his time to skin out the edible part of the metal dragon andkept it in his bag.
Getting to the sanctuary gate, he bent down his head and walked towards it, but got stopped by one of Rush's clown men.
"Hey, what do you have in your bag?" The scarred face man asked and tried collecting Mide's bag.
"Let Scum go, someone like him in a million years time cannot level up, let him go" another said and spanked Mide on the head.
"Sanctuary abuse, people as fragile as you are not welcomed here" the person said again and pushed mide roughly.
Mide only smiled within himself, if only these people knew what he truely was gradually becoming. Anyways, he quickly gathered himself and walked on.
Settling down, Mide threw a piece of the meat into hi mouth and was glad hearing a Desired voice.
"Three metal geno added"
Feeling good, he HAD already added about sixty more existence to his, he placed a pot on the fire and put in the spare meat he would be selling in the market and made to boil it.
Mide brought out his newly gained metal scrap and admired all three of them. And assembled them together.
"Stun arrow gained" the voice said again within him.
Although he never expected much, but a stun gun still would go a long way, in temporarily neutralising his enemy and attack quickly before it wore off, he folded up his humanbot and gently dropped the pot from fire and picked out the meat one after the other.
Mide took his former position at the market, with his rough shaped humanbot, expecting some miracle to happen, after much waiting, he decided to look for Scar for himself.
Mide gathered himself up and walked up to a fruit store.
"Am looking for Scar" Mide said and clinched tight to his bag.
"Over there, that path will lead yyou directly to his lair" the man replied and continued "What does a young lad like you want with a machinery" the man asked and stared at Mide.
Mide didn't reply and just walked on the direction the man had described. Mide followed the part and pushed the door that stood before him, and made his stun gun, come out from his hand, while holding the bag with the other, he carefully entered into the room.
When he heard Machinery he was expecting a dirty environment, bbut the setting of Scar liar was too neat, the door suddenly shut itself.
"Who are you?" A thick scary voice said from behind Mide.
"Am looking for Scar, I have a scared dragon metal meat to sell" Mide replied and turned around.
"Ohh, its you" Scar replied this time in a more cooler voice and walked past Mide, making himself comfortable on his decorated chair.
"Eighty thousand naira for these" Mide replied with greed in his eyes.
Scar kept mute for a while, looking at the fragile humanbot before him.
"I admire your courage hunting a scared metal all by yourself" Scar said and pressed some buttons on his hand and smiled at Mide.
"I added twenty extra, I know you are new, and I love your progress, tomorrow around 8am, I and my clan are going after a metal dyno horse, one of my men saw, you can join us, I will treat you well" Scar said and stretched his hand to receive the bag.
Mide said nothing and handed him the bag, and turned around to leave.
"What's your name?"
Mide turned around and shakes his head, nodding negatively and walked out.

CHAPTER SEVEN
Getting back to his room, Mide looked at the wristwatch, it was just two in the morning, as he laid on his back, he smiled at how business was good, even more happy Scar added more token for him, now that he had settled his sister school bill, next was to get himself a physical upgrade, which would enhance his body, for the future although not everyone thought of it because of the number of dedication it required.
 Mide woke up exactly eight in the morning and quickly without bathing rushed down to the main gate, where he met scar and his fellow machineries.
"Scar, is it this old hagged humanbot, you made us wait for" a man asked and made an axe cane out from his hand.
Mide felt bad but had to keep it within him, he walked up to Scar and nodded at him.
"Anyone who is not contented can leave" Sky said and summoned his metal horse, st on it and helped Mide up on it too.
Mide felt a wave of jealous, he envied Scar, a water horse metal, one that could walk both on land and water and alsk with a resonable amount of speed.
"The iron bee, i dare not waste my time on such useless metal" one of Scar men said from behind.
"I hear they have a scred king" Another replied and coughed out.
"Useless, and for something as useless, they are agressive, just three stings would bring down a strong machinery" another replied.
"Well keep away from Thier territory"
All the while Mide carefully paid attention to them, listening ti any usefull iinformation, and knew he had ti give it a try.
Scar made all of then stop while they continued by feet andslowly they approached a plain green pasture.
They all spotted a metal horse about a hundred feet away, Scar smiled and looked back at his men.
" we can't outrun this, two of you should go this way, the other three should go by the rear, the newbie stays with me" Scar said
"They are short sighted" he said to Mide and transformed into his humanbot.
Mide had no idea what hunting was all about, but he was smart enough to follow closely behind Scar, who looked fearless, as they crawled their way up to their hunt.
Scar raised his head up and pointed two fingers to his eyes and then to the horse, he rolled his hand and made a fist.
All was strange to Mide, he studied all what Scar did and tried as much as possible to notice the outcome.
From the right, one of Scar men suddenly jumped out into the air and shot at the back of the metal horse as he flip in the air and swiftly rolled into the other part of the bush.
The metal horse neighed angrily, stamping its feet, as holes opened on it's body and out of it came sharp spikes, spreading in all direction.
Scar groaned with and rolled on the ground and looked at Mide.and smiled.
"The pain of being a machinery" he said and widened his eyes as he heard a hard hoof step approaching their direction.
"Run".
Scar jumped to his feet and with one leap he was already distance of meter away from Mide, who was still struggling to his feet. The horse approaches furiously and threw a kick at Mide who was slow to dodge it. Mide fell hard on the ground, and screamed hard.
The horse ran up to him again, and made a long sharp horn came out from its head and pointed it at Mide.
"Get up" Scar shouted .
Mide rolled over and made his stun gun come out from his hand ans shot the metal horse. The horse, immediately at the impact of the shot, stood still like a statue in one position.
Mide sighed and looked at Scar, who smiled and quickly leaped back at him.
"Kill it" Scar said and groaned.
"Its your hunt" Mide replied, and shot the horse again.
"You deserve it, i love your trustworthy nature, Kil it and give us the meat" Scar replied.
Mide smiled within himself and brought out his blade and drove it into the metal horse chest.
"1 metal point gained, 5 metal part gained, 7 metal geno gained, A scared sword received, hard shield obtained" Mide felt really happy but only let it within himself.
"What's the gain?" Scar asked as he bent Dow to cut the horse into pieces.
"Seven metal point only" Mide replied and had a sore look on his face.
"So much for the problem, am glad I didn't waste my time killing it, maybe the meat can upgrade a bit" Scar said and threw a chunk into his mouth.
He frowned his face and looked at Mide.
"You're right, no metal point gained" Scar said and spits on the horse.
"Let's return home".
Mide felt relieved and walked behind Scar as the troop all fell into place. His next step was to go after the iron bee, all better he now has a stun gun.

CHAPTER EIGHT
Mide came out of the Sanctuary and went straight to rest on his chair, he looked at the wall clock and sighed, then walked towards the kitchen, to get something to eat.
"Hey" he said and gently pushed his sister away from where she stood and bent down towards the cupboard.
"Thanks for the money you sent to my account" She said and turned off the cooker.
"Dawn, where is the remaining corn flakes" Mide asked still bending down.
Dawn slowly walked up to the door and took a step out before she spoke.
"I thought you won't be coming home again this month, so I ate it all" She said immediately took to her heels.
Mide scoffed and stoodup, walked to the pot on the cooker and opened the lid
"Beans again" he said and covered the lid.
Mide walked out of the kitchen and grabbed his black jacket from the char.
He had learned a lot from the sanctuary and was willing to learn more, his next step was to upgradehis stamina in real life, which would also reflect in the sanctuary.
Mide entered into the training hall and looked at the numerous shelves. In this century, a physical teacher was as close to waste of time, everything was made virtual, a form of hologram.
Mide walked through the shelves, carefully studying each training course and their content to know which one would benefit him most.
"Jade skin, dark war, foot work, arm strength, speed, stamina, increased sense, light fist, drunk war" Mide called out one after another as he passed through the shelves, studying the materials.
After much deliberation, he opted for the darkwar footage, he brought out his palm phone and patiently made the transaction of 78 thousand naira for the training material. He went ahead into the training section and placed the disk into a round open space on the table.
The training section had different rooms, called Traning Cell, each cell were sperated by a transparent glass, and right from about the head level, it was seperated with black steel.
Mide moved back as the hologram of a man appeared, after minutes of listening to the instruction giving, Mide began practice, following patiently and followed each move made by the man, it was then he noticed, the dark war tutorial, comprised of all other tutorial, he still could not find reason why people avoided it.
Mide finally took a break and discovered he had used a whole day in training, he was impressed by his increased stamina from the Sanctuary which reflected in this world. He concluded his training, feeling exhausted he made his way home.
Returning back to the sanctuary, Mide quickly brought out his Metal parts from his last kill and assembled them together.
"Bow of fire obtained" the voice said within him and at the same moment the metal joined together and formed a red metallic bow before him.
Mide felt heart broken at the sight of the bow, everybody avoided a bow like it was a plague, nobody really had the time to dedicate their life in drawing strings when they could get a really good sword or a huge barrel gun, which was very effective. Mide knew selling it was not an option because no one would buy, so he had to keep it and let it be.
He stood up ad drew the string of the bow, making an arrow form on it, he drew it with much ease contrary to what he heard about, the string being really hard to draw.
"Well, not so bad after all" he said and mistakenly released the arrow from the string.
In return, there was a loud explosion, which sent Mide into the air and made him crash hard on the floor.
"You are my best weapon" he said and picked himself up
Mide got his bag from where  he hanged it and put it around his neck, it was time he went to hunt the Iron bee and was even hoping for a Sacred King.
 Walking about three hours, Mide really envied Scar, and wished he had a metal beast to ride on, even if it was not as fast as Scar's.
Another hour passed and Mide wondered why or how he still had the stamina to continue, or why he wasn't feeling thirsty, thinking it was just luck, he continued the path, Scar men had described as the Iron Bee territory
 Mide climed on the rock that lead outside the boundary of Iron Sanctuary, as he climbed he noticed strange movement distance away. He stood still and studied the situation as the figure drew closer.
"Help, help, help" the voice came and closer and closer.
Mide looked carefully and saw what he knew was the Iron Bee, in their large number flying after the man that ran as fast as his legs could carry him.
The man saw Mide above the mountain and strecthed his hands forward, as he ran. Mide quickly positioned himself and strechted his hand down to help the man and in one bound the man leaped grappling Mide's hand.
"Thank you friend, please lift me up, let's run for our dear life". The man said panting as mide held him tight.
"Two hundred thousand naira for saving your life" Mide said and smiled at the man In his humanbot form.
"I'll pay" the man shouted and effortlessly Mide pulled him up.
The swarm approached with force, Mide quickly made his stun gun come out and fired at the large swarm of bees, making them suspend in the air, he formed out his bow and pulled the string, one after the other at each bee.
The man stood with his mouth widely opened, as he saw Mide bringing down each bee with one strike of his arrow, something he never though possible"
"One metal ppoint gained, one metal point gained, one metal point gained" the voice continued to ring in Mide's head as he brought the bees down.
After an hour, all bees were dead and Mide still discovered he had the strength to continue.
"You my friend, is a legend" the man said with gladness.
Mide jumped down the mountain and began packing the bees into his bag, while the man walked up to him.
"How much for everything" The man asked and smiled "I'll pay, I have money, I am rich" the man said again.
Mide didn't reply and just continued with the packing, while the man troubled him with selling, after much silent, Mide spoke.
"A million naira and you still owe me money for saving your life" Mide replied and bent down to pick a bee.
"Deal, send me you account, I'll send the money right now".
Mide paused and knew he had blew his chance, he should have demanded for more.
"Only half is for a million" Mide said and studied the man reaction.
"That's cheating" the man replied and frowned.
"What else can you offer" Mide asked, hopefully the man would bend to his will.
"I have Metal Donkey mount, and I'll add three hundred thousand for the kill".
Mide smiled, at the mention of a mount and immediately transaction were made and completed.
"What's your name?" The man asked
Mide kept mute, he knew the consequences of telling his name, nobody in the sanctuary was to associate with him.
"Double D" Mide said, as that was the word that hevcould think of.
"Sure, I'll tell everyone one of your great deed, here, a spray metal, a red color, it'll fit your bow" he said and handed Mide a spray can.
Mide smiled and immediately applied it, the rusty part of his humanbot looked new, painted with red, it made him feel glad and nooded at the man, and both men went their seperaye way.
CHAPTER NINE
Mide stopped halfway as a thought came at him, the day was still young, what if he went in search of other metal beast, he might have a pleasant surprise he didn't know, the greed of how much he could sell a sacred meat made him ssmile the more, he summoned out the Metal Donkey Mount, he was not pleased at what he saw, the Mount look old fashioned and he thought of it not matching his personality, a donkey, he tried imagining how odd it felt, a thing of old.
He reluctantly sat on the Metal Donkey and geared it to move forward, after an hour of riding, he felt the wind change, the smell of the environment, was changee, nobody needed to tell him he was already going beyound what he could handle, but no pain no gain, he thought within himself and continued, another thirty minutes gone, he saw from distance large flock of what looked like bulls from afar.
He alighted his mount and summouned it back, he walked slowly, silently among the bush, he knew he could not handle all, so he waited patiently for anyone that would go astray or walk out of the flock.
After two hours, Mide felt annoyed, why would anyone not wander away, after much delibration he decided to take another approach. But one thing he forgot was he only had 30 metal point, which resulted in the fact the he still wasn't as close to being powerful in one on one battle, and secondly he didn't know what kind of ability his hunt possessed.
Mide summoned his Metal bow of fire and drew the string, making a white shiny arrow appear on it. He knew the arrow wouldn't go more than a forty feet, because of his limited power although his reload time was okay. He aimed steadily at the Metal Bull that was closest to him and released the string.
The arrow made its way with swiftness and on impact with the Metal bull, the arrow bounced off, leaving a white mark on its body.
Mide felt cold run down his spinal cord and regretted he had come further on this hunt. The flock scattered around, running in different direction. Mide rised up and quickly took to his heel, and immediately the bulls followed behind him in their large number.
As Mide ran, he began to feel exhausted as inch by inch the bulls got closer. Mide grinned his teeth and began meditating on the dark war lessons he had practiced, he reduced the rate at which his heart beat and tried controlling his breathing, as he did this, he felt flow of energy going straight to his leg, thus resulting to his increase in speed.
Mide knew he could not run forever, and his donkey mount was useless, slowly he began to feel drained, as he didn't have enough strength to continue the use of Dark war. Luckily he saw a mountain rock before him and with his last strength he leaped on it.
the bull flock saw this and mooed angrily, and settled beside the rock, and they made a round circle around the rock, totally camping Mide, making sure he had no way of escape.

CHAPTER TEN
Back at the Sanctuary, the name Double D was now on everyone's lips, the man(Sleek) as he entered into Iron Sanctuary, right from the gate started telling everyone about his newly discovered hero, what made everyone so interested was the fact that he used a bow and arrow to do his hunting, from Iron Sanctuary right to other Sanctuaries no one has ever been found to use tthe bow and arrow, the only clan that used it were the Arrow Of God Clan, which didn't pay them and they has to resort to about 10% used of arrow mainly for very short range while the remaining 90% was the use of heavy artillery.
Queenite, the leader and founder of the Arrow of God clan found interest in this new person Sleek talked about so much and invited Sleek to their Clan base.
"Because of Double D, i am dining with top clan leaders" Sleek said silently and smiled at his luck and sat down before Queenite, who sat gorgeously on her chair, facing Sleek.
"Who is this Double D you talk about so much" She asked and passed a plate of metal meat to him.
"Before i can proceed, you will have to pay me a milliion naira" Sleek replied already vowing within himself to make up for the Double D caused him.
"Scoundrel, you think this is a business proposal" Queenite thundered and turned into her humanbot and threathened Sleek with an arrow to his throat.
Sleek smiled and stoodup and walked to the exit.
"Ill pay seven hundred" Queenite replied after thinking critically about the situation, knowing fully well it will benefit their clan.
Sleek smiled and resumed his former position after the transaction was suceesful.
"He killed the whole Iron Bee colony with just a bow, we returned back together, but he went back to look for another hunt" Sleek said and stood to his feet.
"Its that all?" Queenite frowned not feeling satisfied with the information.
"Thats all i know, he didnt reveal his face only the name" Sleek said and went out.
Queenite frowned her face and sighed theinformation was barely enough to help her in anyway, all she hoped for was pay attention ro any useful information

Mide looked down and fumed as he saw the bull still roamed about the rock, probably expecting him to descend while they serve him the justice he deserved, the heat from the sun became unbearable for him, he had to change back to his human form, while he thought of a way to escape.
Mide prayed for a solution to come fast, because he was sure he didnt have the strength to overcome these ones.
A thought came across his mind, and he smiled and turned into his red humanbot, he brought out his stun gun and laid flat on the rock, making sure the bulls were not having a view of him. He pointed his stun gun forward and aimed at the bull at the far end of the line and fired at it.
The bull made out a loud noise ans tumbled on the ground, and immeditely every other bull turned it direction and ran up to it. Mide saw his chance and leaped off the rock, and while the attention of the bull were shifted to their injured mate, he made the run for his life.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

Mide smiled at his stupidity as he approached the Iron Sanctuary, right from the sanctuary, he meet people standing in group, something that has never thought possible since he was here. Ignoring them, even if he want to join in their discussio , no one would allow him, since they avoided him like a plague, as Mide took the turn that led to his lair, he stopped on hearing a familiar name.
"Double D, i heard he handles the bow well, killed a bee colony, with his sword"
"He must be in a higher level, as Rush or higher"
"Let's hope he will be competing in the Iron Contest next week"
Mide stood still hearing all they said and smiled within himself, he moved his head up and saw a poster about something about the iron contest and registration closed that day.
"Where have I been all this while" Mide thought within himself, after noticing the poster had been almost three week old.
"Scum" someone called him from behind and threw a round ball at his heas, which Mide dodged moving his head sideway, without looking back.
"You got moves" the person said again l.
Mide turned around and discovered it was Rush brother Lyta. Mide stood still as Lyta approached him with a clinched fist.
"Look who is here" lyta said and pushed Mide on the chest.
"Please let me be" Mide pleaded and looked straight at Lyta's eyes.
"Or what?" He asked and threw a punch at Mide.
With quick swiftness, Mide dodged the punch and quickly he channled the little Dark war skill he could remember, the part where, you made your hand as fast and silent as possible for increased damage. His fist found a spot on Lyta's face and immediately his upper lips splited, and blood gushed out from it.
Lyta groaned in anger, not believing someone aa s fragile and small as Mide could hurr him with one strike. Everyone immediately turned thier attention towards them and marvelled at what happened.
Lyta threw another punch and with the help of darkwar, Mide grabbed Lyta by that arm, and twisted it back, and pushed him hard to the ground.
"Enough"
Everyone quickly paved way as Rush walked up to them and sslapped his brother hard on the face.
"You let someone like scum humiliate you, humiliate our clan" Rush shouted and signalled his injured brother should be taken away.
He looked at Mide with a deadly look in his eyes and walked off.

Mide felt like a hero who had just saved the day, and walked out of the crowd, Scum disgraced the Golden Clan, was now the new topic that grew like wildfire round the whole of Iron Sanctuary as wide as it was.

Mide hid himself where he knew no one would see him and transformed into his red humanbot, and walked down to the registration point of the Iron Contest. The lady he met looked at him with a silly look and wondered why someone as young as him would want to enrol, it would means the end of the road for him.
"Even brats who havent used up to a year, now enrols in a deadly contest" The lady said and blew he chewing gum and popped it loudly.
"Name" she said and grabbed her pen.
"Double D" Mide replied looking at the registration book.
The girl paused and looked at him and smiled
"Name" She asked again.
"Double D" Mide replied.
The scream suddenly let out a loud scream, drawing everyones attention, without permission she jumped on Mide hugging him tightly.
"Double D is finally here" She shouted and within a minute the whole place was crowded.
The message in no time got to Queenite, who abandoned all she was doing and headed down to the registration point only to be disappointed when she was told Double D did the registration and no one knew how he left the gathering.

CHAPTER TWELVE
Mide had two option, one was to either go for hunt and maybe luck would shine on him, killing a rare metal could give him a really good upgrade ffor the competition, or going out of the sanctuary to train and improve his skills
"Damn no" Mide muttered remembering the horrible experience he had with the metal bulls.
The competition was to hold in a week time, he could learn a lot before then, and also going out of the sanctuary could cost him much loss, even while in the sanctuary he never knew a registration was going on, he couldnt think of the consequences of missing a a golden dragon sword and a rare dragon meat.
After much delibrarion within himself, Mide decided to remain in the sanctuary and use the training hall and the only way to access was if he went as Double D, the Mide part of him was to be avoided like plague.

While Double D entered into the training hall, it was empty, he took his time to know which section he would be going for, there was the Sword section, defense section, attack, the archery and lot more. None got his interest like the Swiftness of thr wind, Mide knew for someone with less strength and agility he had to strike his opponent as quick and fast as possible.
Without second thought, Double D went into the swiftness section, the machine before him in the section was strange to him, it had a large screen and a double flat green plate opposite each other, which Mide guessed to be where you would place your hand, Mide jammed his hand against the power switch on the wall, the machine revived with a loud noise, Mide looked at his hand and marveled at the amount of dust on it.
He placed his hands on both green plate and for a moment wondered what it was all about, a yellow ball suddenly popped on the screen, while a virtual hand pressed it and it bursted.
Mide quickly got the concept of the training, as fast as possible you had to pop the ball.
The first level was easy, within five minutes he was done, gradually he reached level fifteen. Mide gradually began to feel exhausted, and switched into the use of Darkwar, channeling half of the strength he used in breathing into his arms, half of the strength he used to stand into his arm, half of the strength his body heat possessed into his arm.
He smiled at how good he was becoming with the use of Dark War, the ball on the screen began to move so fast which didnt bother Mide, as the Darkwar gave him the speed he needed, he moved so swift, the movement of his hand almost became invisble.

While Mide was training, other people also began entering into the hall in twos and in ones, at first no one looked at the swiftness section, since everyone considered it a waste of time, the highest their best had gone was level five.
"Level 31" a mechnical voice said from the swiftness section, drawing everyone's attention.
"Level 33" was the next thing they heard, confused about how level 32 was skipped.
They all began walking towards the section, wanting to see, who performed such miracle.
The door slowly opened, while Double D was fully concentrated on the machine, he never knew the whole sanctuary were gathered already.
He was all about practicing darkwar, alongside the swiftness machine, which he succeded in doing well.
"Level 47"
"Level 48"
Double D slowly began to exhaust the use of darkwar and concluded his training, he removed his hand from the green plate and sighed.
"Its Double D" Sleek suddenly shouted from among the crowd and struggled his qay through.
Double D, turned around and marveled at the huge number of crowd that was already gathered behind him.
Sleek finally made his way through and faked a punch at Double D.
"Thats my man, See me personally of you want to talk to him" Sleek said and shun the crowd off.
"Hey, ill pay you to train me, anything yoi want in return" Sleek said smiling at Double D.
Queenite heard of it and once again abandoned her training and ran to the training hall, only to meet another disappointment again, Double D was gone, the same story, no one knew how or when he left.
Queenite walked into the swiftness section and went through the record to make sure, the story she heard wasnt exaggerated, only to be in shock seeing it was true, he had beat her record, while she stopped at level 5.
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Mide decided to take a day break out of the sanctuary and probably go for another training except Darkwar, getting to the former life, he hurriedly came out of his house and boarded a cable bus, heading to Training hall.
Mide gently made himself comfortable beside a girl, he never knew why, but he found himself staring at the girl, maybe her beauty, he tried as many times as possible, but her beauty was out of what he had ever imagined , the girl raised her head up from her phone and caught Mide staring at her.
She smirked and gave him a funny look, and concentrated back on her phone, she raised her head up again and caught Mide again

"What is wrong with you?" The girl asked feeling frustrated.
"Nothing, i was looking at the game you played" Mide replied and looked towards the window.
"Dull, every kid knows about The Reflex online PVP" the girl said and continued at her game as a message popped up into the air.
"I ggive up"
Mide read the message and smiled.
"Seems you won't stop staring" She said and had an angry look on her face.
"I am the leader of Green Shadow Group, you known I have every right to arrest you for staring, but looks like you don't know anything, I'll make a deal with you".
Mide grinned and smiled sheeply at her and slightly nodded his head for her to continue.
"I'll play against you, if I win, you'll get off the bus" She said feeling sure of herself.
"And if I win, you'll be my girlfriend" Mide replied and made a smile that irritated the girl.
"Am sure you can't win"
Mide made for his phone and while the game was still download, he quickly searched for Green Shadow, the discovery he saw made him look at the girl again.
Green shadow is an organization, that produced the best military troop for the government, he later discovered, she was the leader for the beginner batch, well she still had a long way to go, but being a leader of such clan no matter how small was an achievement.
Mide smiled and did necessary installation of the app and smiled at the girl.
"Let me practice" Mide said and went through the game only to discover it was very similar to the swiftness machine
"You are dead" Mide said within himself.
"I hosted, my username is **Aminlove**" Mide said and watched as the girl smirked at him.
"Wonuola" Mide read out and smiled "that's your name" he said and focused on his phone.

The game began, the first ball that popped out on Wonuola's territory, was what Mide went for, before her hand could move to touch it, it disappeared. The girl grumbled and thought it was beginners luck.
Another came again, before she could move her finger the bal was gone again, maybe he was lucky she thought and made to ttouch another one again, but it was gone.
Two balls popped up at the same time, before she could press one, but balls were gone

"That's impossible, I have never seen anyone pressed both balls at the same time" She said and looked at Mide with anger in her eyes.
"Please continue" The game finally came to an end.
Mide had a hundred percent ball pop and another hundred percent accuracy.
Wonuola cleared her throat, not wanting to believe what she saw.
"You cheat" She finally managed to say.
"How, we are both seated together and its an online game how will i cheat" Mide replied raising his hands up.
"Lets go again" Wonuola said with seriousness on her face.
"I have changed my username to Wonuola is my girlfriend" Mide rplied and didnt bother to look at her expression.
Mide decided to try something else. He closed his eyes and channeled his Darkwar skill into the other sense organ. Wonuola looked at him and smiled knowing she would win this round.
The game started, before she could press the ball, it had disappeared, she looked at Mide and saw he closed his eyes, before she could preaa another, the bal was gone, after the match she looked at Mide and punched him on the chest.

"You cheat" She said and alighted the cable bus.
Mide smiled and typed a message to ther PVP inbox.
"You are now my girlfriend"
Mide smiled and looked at her as she boarded another cable bus.

CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Mide entered into the Hall and began going through the shelves again, one after the other looking for the training practice that would benefit him, after about twenty minutes of going through the shelves, he decides to go for the arm stamina training, he carefully transfered the money and watched as the training manual came before him, Mide took another look at his account balance and noticed he was running out to cash, although the one he had could still sustain him.

The following day, Mide returned to Iron Sanctuary and  decided to go for a hunt, seeking the meat and still level himself up. It was just five more days to the competition. As he got out to the sanctuary gate, he met people gathered together raising their heads up, looking at a huge led electronic board.
"The fixtures have been drawn, Double D is fighting against Scar" someone said audibly among the crowd.
Mide walked towards the direction and saw for himself, he needed no one to tell him, he was total trouble, he had seen what Scae can do, he had seen the heavy artilleries scar possessed.
"No way am continuing with this fight" he said within himself as sweat broke out from his forehead. He looked at other fixtures and saw, anyone that won in his own group would be going up against Dark Matter.

At first he was scared of scar, knowing he had no chance of winning, what if he won, he would be going up against Dark Matter, someone whose humanbot was three times Scars height, from the tales he heard, Dark Matter punch alone could bore a hole into the ground. Studying his group clearly, he discovered he was the weakest.

Mide found a place to hid himself and turned into Double D and walked right into Iron Sanctuary.
"Am looking for Sleek" Double D said, as all eyes fell on him.
"Hey my man" Sleek suddenly shouted out of nowhere and punched Double D on the chest.
"I told ya all he was my manny" Sleek shouted and smiled, he looked at Double D and walked him away from the crowd.
When they were out of ear shot, Double D spoke.
"How well do you trade in the black market" Double D asked
Sleek smiled and for a moment he paused.
"What do you want from the black market"
"A level ten metal blade, and a lion metal shield" Double D replied.
Sleek bursted into laughter alongside a funny body movement.
"Men, that will cost you all yoir fortune, even Scar cant buy both at the same time".
"I am not Scar" Double D replied and attempted to walk off.
"Wait man, i can ger you the level ten metal blade for free, but you will have to share you every hunt into two and i ger half part" Sleek replied.
Double D turned around and smiled. Mide knew he needed that prize from the competition, something that was only one im the entire sanctuary, he couldnt miss it.
"Meet me here tomorrow at noon" Sleek replied.
Feeling satisfied, Mide turned around the next thing was his proposed hunt, in getting to the sanctuary gate, The Arrow of God Clan suddenly surrounded him, in the hot red humanbot form, each one pointing their heavy machine at him.
"Lower your weapons, lets mot be rude to our guest".
Mide turned around and saw Queenite coming from the far end of the gate.
Double D also in defense brought out his Bow of Fire, not know how he did it, he made three arrows appear from it.
"You are really as good as they saw" Queenite said with pleasure in her voice.
"What do you want?"
"A noble invitation to join our clan" Queenite said and joined Double D in the circle.
"I work alone" Double D replied and lowered his weapon.
Heavy footstep approached from inside the hall of the Iron Sanctuary towards the gate, this time it was Rush and his clan, Rush clan also surrounded the Arrow of God clan, with their weapons boiling red.
The arrow of God clan also turned around pointing their weapons in defense.
"Double D is under our protection, he is with us" Scar said and walked into the circle.
Double D just stood in total surprise not know what went on or what was wrong.
"Double D, i offer a Metal Cloud Jumper, if you join the golden clan" Scar said and crossed his hands.
"I know you don't have a cloud jumper, I will offer you a Metal Demon Acid" Queenite said.
"A cloud jumper and seven million"
"A metal demon, a lion Mount and ten million"
Double D knew this was a art of enticing him and he raised his hands up, making total silence fall on them.
"Anyone with a lion metal cloth shield?" Double D asked.
"I don't have but I have a level eight metal shield" Rush replied hoping Double D would be impresses.
"A beetle cloth shield is available" Queenite replied.
Double D looked at her with a smile on his face, this was a better option in replacement of the lion cloth shield, which might not be available even in a year time.
Queenite smiled in return knowing Double D was enticed with the offer.
"How much will you sell it" Double D replied.
This was not the reply Queenite expected but she had to play along.
"I can give you for free" She said and made it visible, handing it over to Double D.
Slowly receiving it, Double D smiled, trying to play his game smart.
"Giving me this those not mean I join your calm, but you can let me in, if you have a hunt I will be needed" Double D replied.
"That's fair enough" Queenite replied feeling glad.
Rush muttered and pointed at Queenite, after Double D already left them.
"That gguy played smart on you and you fell for it" Rush said and turned around to leave.
"At least I have his loyalty, you dont win a champion in one day"

CHAPTER FIFTEEN
The second day after Double D got the level ten blade, he thought of going one last time with the new course he just acquired, for about three days then he would come back on the six day and use a day to prepare for the contest.

In his room, Mide decided to go onlone and check the game, if he would find anyone to play with.
He looked at the news part of the game and was surprised at how two hundred messages could be in his inbox. He randomly picked on one
"You must be a god, how did you do it"
It was then Mide realised your score was sent to the world wide leaders board if you were outstanding.
"How could you decide to be our leaders boyfriend, you are a cheat"
Mide only smiled and wondered on all the hate message he got, he saw a challenge pop up and he gladly clicked on it. This time it was a time attack.
The game time was to end in five minutes, Mide already finished his in two minutes, once again his record went top high into the leader board, making more message pop up. Mide smiled and logged out of the game he still had things to do.

Mide looked around the room and noticed his sister had just gone out and sighed, by the time it was eight thirty in the night, since he was already stressed up and was feeling to lazy to cook, he decided to hit one of the cafeteria in the neighborhood.

Getting to the proposed cafeteria, he was disappointed to find out they had closed, he went further in search, he had not gone far, when a huge object suddenly fell from the sky and crashed against the three storey building that was before him.

"My daughter"
A lady suddenly screamed, running helter skelter, she ran from one passer by to another Hoping someone would come to her aid. Her attention went back to the collapsed building as she heard people murmuring behind her.

A red humanbot, threw a huge block off its body and on the other hand a young girl of about twelve years old. The humanbot(Double D) gently placed the girl on a safe place and looked around for more survivors.
Looking at the plane before him, he later knew it was not just any ship, it was a space ship. He watched as the roof of the ship flew off and hissed off steam, and out from it came a human form of a monster. It had a red cloth on, a tail, while its head had spike on it, running round its face, it wielded a sword with it.
"Shituri" Double D muttered and moved back a little.
In an instance the whole place was flooded with  people, news casters especially, who quickly got the program live going round the world.
A shituri was the highest rank of a royal family, a family far from earth, although their route never comes to earth, this would be the second Shituri in twenty years.
It wielded its sword and swing it round its arm, the swiftness of the blade moved like, rays of light, which Mide found difficult to trace.
"Humans must kill" the shituri said and began walking towards Mide.
Mide knew there was no chance of talking any sense, he also brought out his level ten blade, which looked like it had a silver lining of the sharp edge.
The shituri with one bound jumped at Mide, who quickly dodged it, and pushed the girl sideways. His leg almost invisible found its marking on the Shituri's face.
He charged at the shituri and slashed it on it's chest, and with one swift punch, which he channeled Darkway alongside swiftness, It sent the Shituri flying meters away.
"That's Double D" someone said to the hearing of a male newscaster, who quickly gave the video streaming the headline DOUBLE D VS SHITURI.
The last time a shituir was on earth, it claimed the lives of seven hundred people including Male and female and it took the collective effort of the strongest fighter from Green Shadow to bring it down, in which they all paid with thier lives.
"Streaming live, is a fearless lad popularly know as double d against a shituri, we hope he survives it. I know he wil survive it, i believe in Double D, pray for Double D, I am Edward reporting Channel 120".
Double D held the girl and tried taking her to safety, just then a blast came at his back, sending him off, he flung the girl into the sky and as he rolled on the floor, he jammed is legs against a block and slid directly under the girl and caught her.
Before he could stand, the Shituri was already in front of him, with its sword in the sky, it drove it against the girl.
Mide quickly rolled over, covering the girl with his body, and with ease, the sword entered into his hand, the beetle cloth shield on him, was useless against the shituri's sword.
Mide shouted loud and kicked the Shituri off, removing it's grip off it's sword.
Double D quickly turned around and brought out his Bow of fire and fired three shot at a time at the Shituri. The shot only had minimal effect on it, leaving white marks on it's body.
Double D groaned out loud as he pulled the sword off his arm. He channeled the darkwar into his arm which he used in holding sword on signalled to the Shituri to come forward.

"He should just run off" someone said from the crowd with tears in her eyes.
"He is badly injured, he wont survive,the military would be here anytime soon, they will take care of it".
A block suddely crashed above the girl. Double D saw this and dashed towards the girl, covering her with his body, and made the block fall on his back, he spitted blood off his mouth, as he tried throwing block off. The Shituri ran up to him and brought out a dagger from it's mouth and attempted to stab the girl. Double D, quickly blocked it off with his hand, leaving a very deep wound that revealed his bone.
Skillfully, he threw the sword into his free hand, while the other supported his back to hold off the block from crashing. He swayed the sword and slashed the Shituri with one swoft into half.
"Yes, yes, he did it, Double D did it" Edward the reporter shouted.
To him as being the only person that televised the show, it meant break through for his reporting career, immediately on that spot, he received a message on his phone, asking him to partner with them, and another three came in again. He ignored them and looked towards the fight scene.
Double D threw the block off and pushed the girl off, he was already badly injured, he looked at the Shituri sword and smiled, this sword beat every other sword in the sanctuary, it was his to keep.
He fired an arrow to he ground, making have a loud boom, and raised dust into the air. Before the dust died down Double D was gone.

CHAPTEE SIXTEEN
Mide got home and transported himself back into Iron Sanctuary.  Laying on the bare floor in his lair, he knew all he needed was enough rest,  the wound the Shituri inflicted on him was large,  he felt pain all over his body.
He crawled towards the left over pieces of his metal iron bee and devoured some even though it had began to loss taste,  he knew it would go a long way healing him.

Edward for the first time in his newscasting career,  was getting much more recognition, three different television was now on to him,  since he was the first person to bring the fight live before others joined.
He came live on the show analysing the way and strength Double D fought.
"From the strike he gbe the Shituri, it's very obvious,  Double D has a special training he is undergoing,  and the way he held the heavy block,  was exceptional. I estimated for someone as his size he shouldn't be able to hold something as huge and that and still be able to fight,  even the injury he sustained, but where is Double D? "

Mide watched as his body slowly healed and knew he wouldn't recover fully before the contest began,  he closed his eyes to sleep so his body could recover at large.

Where is Double D was the questions on everyone's lips,  while some assumed he was dead,  the injury he sustained was much,  while others hoped he survived,  his opponent silently wished he was dead,  no one has ever killed a Shituri on one on one fight.
A day to the fight,  Mide opened his eyes weakly,  and groaned as he rolled over, he looked at his injured arm and was glad it was healed already,  he sat upright and crossed his legs together and closed his eyes channeling the Darkest into his body to gain more strength.
He sighed relief and stood up, he summouned out the Shituri sword and took a spray from where he kept it and sprayed the sword red,  he was wise enough the other day to have dropped down his own sword,  in replacement of the Shituri sword so no one would suspect any fowl play.
He admired the sword and swayed it,  he marveled as it perfectly flowed with his arm,  tell lightness and the sharpness.
He went out to the sanctuary and smiled at the poster he saw above and smiled.
"Stay woke Double D,  from a die hard fan" He walked round the sanctuary with nothing actually in mind and returned at exactly 12am.
He entered into his room and brought out his new sword,  did some practice and slept.

People trooped into the fight arena one after the other,  the fight ground had different cell,  seperate with iron nets from each other,  about two hundred of them,  to enable everyone fight at the same time, since the contenders were much.

Mide trooped among the crowd and sat down in the middle part of the large hall that contain more than seven thousand members.  The first group of contenders entered into the cell  one after the other,  in about thirty minutes the match was over,  now leading down to Mide's group.
Scar entered into the cell where he would be fighting with Double D and he knew within himself he was happy Double D won't be showing up,  the thought of fighting with someone who killed a Shituri with ease made him felt less.
"Is like the rumors are true that Double D is dead" someone said beside Mide to his friend.
"I hope he isn't,  he is not dead am sure of that"
Scar smiled with corner of his teeth as the referee entered into the cage to declare him winner.
Mide turned into Double D where he sat and removed the hood he used in covering his head,  the boy beside him saw it was Double D and shouted with a loud voice.
"Double D is alive" he shouted and jumped on Double D. "Win this for me" the boy said and jeered at his friend.
The referee smiled and quickly ran out of the fight cell and watched Double D walked into the cell.
"1 million dollars on double D"
Everyone started placing heir odds while some places on Double D others placed on Scar.
Edward made sure he was early enough to take the front seat, so he could analyse the game carefully.
"A Shituri is different from a human " Scar said and brought our his heavy gun

Mide smiled and looked at him,  this was not hunting,  he knew even scar liked him,  he wouldn't hesistate to take him off his way.
Double D brought out his sword and swayed it with easy flexibility.
Among every other game, majority was were interested in Double D'angelo fight

Double D squated and raised his sword up.  Immediately  the bell rang, Scar fired his gun at Double D,  who was even glad he did.
Double D with the help of his Darkest,  rolled the word in a circular pattern,  bouncing off the bullets as they approached him.
The crowd cheered loudly seeing the skill Double D performed.
Double D, rolled the sword continually and stopped at The gun also was already on overheat. He channeled the Darkwar into his legs and with great speed,  he slashed Scar twice on the stomach splitting him into two halves.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
The next day after his fight,  Mide decided he would go for hunt,  since he already has his Shituri blade which he now named Air Slasher,  but this time he didn't plan on going far,  all he needed was just regular metal meat, since he already ran out of food. Another thought came at him, know that he was stronge, and with more upgrade,  he could go after the Metal bull,  this time he was sure he would have the upper hand.
The Arrow of God clan,  suddenly rode past h,  about seven of them,  this time Queenite was not with them.
"Out of the way, Scum" the girl that led the troop shoited and scoffed on seeing a bow with him.
"You also want to be like Double D" the girl said and they all went into laughter.
Mide didn't bother to reply them and just stepped out of the way,  he knew they were going after a hunt,  he smiled in his heart and had a better idea.
When he was sure they had gone far,  he summouned his donkey mount and trailed the hoof track of their horses and followed behind them.
He saw them alight their horse and walked into a cave, for the spot where he was,  he summouned back his mount and continued on foot.
He made sure he was as silent as possible as he entered the cave,  he saw a water fall on the other end,  and walked through it,  only to discover, it led to another part, seeing the mountain from afar,  one would think it was a dead end, but here, a huge forest laid behind.
Mide bent down to track their steps and continued, he saw them from afar and hid himself behind a tree.
"I saw the eagle like creature here" the girl that led the troop said, and continued "It can't be far, that's the nest,  everyone take cover"
Mide noticed another bird nest on the tree not to far from his left,  this one was quite bigger than the one the troop saw. He silently walked towards the tree,where the nest laid and began to climb it,  this must be a scared meat Mide thought within himself. Getting to the top of the tree,  he found a big egg in it, and smiled happily,  the nest was a big one,  which could contain five people convienently. Mide took a wild look around making sure nothing was in sight. He gently used his Air slasher to bore a hole on the egg and placed his mouth, drinking the liquid that came out from it.
"6 metal geno gained,  3 upgrade gained"
Mide eyes widened and smiled at his luck,  just the egg gave him this,  what if he killed the bird itself, he smiled with greed and quickly descended the tree. He still saw the troop in their former position,  while he had gained more than them.
A loud screech suddenly came from before the troop,  making them prepare more, each looking at each other with readiness in their eyes.
Mide laid low and smiled, knowing he was going to make them pay for abusing him.

A huge metal Raven about 10 feet suddenly flew among the thick forest, sending trees crashing to the ground, immediately, the troop began shouting their arrows at it, which had no impact, as it bounced off like rubber.
The leader quickly turned to her humanbot and made a huge rocket launcher come out of her hand and fired at the bird.
The explosion sent the bird off, hoping it was dead,  the bird turned on its feet and shakes it's broken feather off.
"Now it's pissed" Mide said and smiled, having fun at the revenge scheme he had in mind.
From the way the bird survived that hit, Mide knew he had to make them attack it so it could be weak,  then he would do the finishing job.
The bird angrily swayed it's huge wings at the troop sending them off in different direction. It jumped forward and opened its strong beak, in an attempt to knock off the leader.
Mide quickly dived from where he was and pulled the string of his bow, making the arrows form on it.  He kept his calm and channeled Darkwar through his arm and released.
The arrows moved with swiftness, the first hit sending the bird to the ground.
"Metal Raven mount obtained, no metal point " Mide almost died with excitement at the hearing of Raven mount,  meaning he could journey through air.
The troop gathered around,  each of them in bad shape.
'"You hijacked our hunt " the leader shouted and walked towards Mide.
"I wouldn't say that, I saved your lives "
Loud screech came from every part of the woods,  Mide knew what he killed was their metal Lord.
"follow me" he said and looked at them,  well they had no option.
Mide brought out his bow, and his air slasher, and gave it to the leader. As they moved towards the exit,  large bird in large numbers,  began to rush at them,  from above.
Mide with swiftness, fired three shots after another, each shot bringing down a Raven.
The troop looked in surprise as Mide,  fired with ease, each shot going more than a hundred meter into the air.  They expected he would get tired after a few shot, but was surprised seeing Mide still had the strength  to fire.
"3 metal point games,  3 mtal point gained, 3 metal point gained............. " Mide really enjoyed the tone of the voice within him and fired continually,  channeling the Darkwar into his arm.
After the last shot,  Mide shouted with joy raising the bow in the air. He looked around only to discover pile of Raven metal birds on the ground, almost to the waist level.
"How did you do that?" the leader asked.
Mide smirked at her and collected his Air slasher.
"we better get out of here"
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
Tasha the girl that led the group of the Arrow of God, looked at Mide with a feeling she couldn't understand, as much as she tried to hate him, she found it impossible.
"Scum, would you like to ride with me, we still have a long way to go" She said and slowed her horse making him catch up with her.
Mide smiled and nodded his head, he wondered why the sudden kindness, he knew it wouldn't have been the hero thing he did, he was sure it was far from it.
"You will die of trekking " She said again offering him her hand.
Mide scoffed, only if she knew he could do much than what she expected.
Mide stretched his hand at her and she pulled him up behind her. Mide tried asking much as possible not to make body contact with her, but it seemed impossible.
"Hold my waist"
Mide sighed, feeling uncomfortable  with her offer and her too much niceness.
"Why? "
Tasha hissed and geared her horse making it run faster.
Seeing the sanctuary gate afar,  Mide jumped off from the horse and continued on his leg.
Later the evening of that day, Mide got an invitation from Queenite, he knew how bad she needed someone to do her archery business, not just anyone, someone good and the person she needed was Double D.
Mide was led into the Arrow of God training camp, seeing the trainees taking a very bad posture with their bow. He saw Queenite from afar, trying as hard as she could to hit the bull eyes about forty meters from her.
The girl that led Mide into the camp handed him a bow and a quiver filled with arrow, like Queenite already knew,  she stepped away from the path of the dart board.
Mide knew what they wanted and he was going to give it to them,  although he won't be as accurate as Double D so it won't cause any suspicion.
From where he stood was about eighty meter from the dart board, he placed the quiver in his back and retrieved an arrow.
He took the first shot, which easily found its spot on the bull's eye, he moved to the second dart and fired, purposely making it hit, the blue spot before the bull eye, he closed his eyes and fired at the third board, making a mark on the blue spot also, the fourth hit the bulls eyes, he smiled at the girl that brought him in and fired at her direction, the arrow went above her head and brought down a bird from the sky.
Queenite felt impressed  and clapped her hands, something she had never done in her life, appreciating skill wasn't part of attribute.
"I think we've found a replacement for Double D" Queenite said and signalled everyone should return to their training.
"Wow" Mide said and watched as Queenite carried herself gallantly towards him.
"Since you don't have a clan,  and everyone avoids you like poo, am Recruiting you into The Arrow of God clan" Queenite said and continued to walk on.
Mide trailed behind and wondered what kind of forcefully offer it was
"You gave Double D a chance and he robbed you of your precious hunt" Mide said.
Queenite angrily launched a slap at Mide's face, splitting his lips. He knew he could dodge it, he calculated himself to be 3 seconds faster than Queenite attack, but he had to play along.
"am giving you a chance, you are not the half of Double D, and you should feel honor with this " Queenite replied and turned around to face Mide.
"Sorry am out" Mide said and turned towards the exit.
Queenite within herself, knew she couldn't get Double D, since another was available, she need, and she knew what Rush could do.
"You know Rush, will even want to kill you, if he discovers you are good " She said.
Mide didn't bother answering, he only continued towards the exit.
"3 million every week, 2 hundred thousand naira bonus for successful escort" Queenite said
Mide paused and smiled, know business was good.

CHAPTER 19
Mide returned back to his lair and thought about the offer Queenite offered, well he was all about the money, and all about business,  his next match was in three days time, he threw a chunk of meat into his mouth and stood up to practice his swiftness tutorial, he sighed for a moment and felt to lazy to begin. He stood up and walked out towards the sanctuary gate, where he met Lots.
"Hey, pig head" Lyta  called out and walked up to Mide with his crew, and smiled at him.
Mide moved back and vowed to humiliate Lyra know any way, he had to retain his dignity, he wouldn't anyone play him this time around.
"What do you want? " Mide asked and gulped hard.
Lyta smiled and placed his hands on Mide's shoulder.
"I want to play a game with you" Lyta said and had a serious look on his face.
"There is a Metal Warthog that was spotted around the forest, anyone that kills it, gains 5million and he leaves the sanctuary for ever" Lyta said and smiled again.
"You are scared,  let's settle this in the mini arena, man to man" Mide replied, not because he couldn't go for the hunt, the hunt was a probability, either he killed the beast of otherwise, and much was at stake, but he didn't want any competition, and even he knew Lyta could be staging him.
Lyta grumbled a bit, and reluctantly agreed to Mide's term.

The news quickly got around the entire sanctuary,  Scum going up against the all powerful Lyta, probably history will repeat itself again. Queenite got the message and quickly made for the mini arena.
She sighted Mide, where he stood alone, watching the stage prepared. The Golden Clan on the far end of the arena.
The Arrow of God clan, all walked towards Mide, while Queenite led them. Everyone stood in total surprise seeing the Arrow of God clan was for the plague everyone avoided.
"What's this madness you are getting into? " Queenite asked with a low tone and knelt down before Mide.
"Restoring my dignity " Mide replied.
"What are the metal gears you have? "
Mide felt bad at such questions, it dawned on him, that's the question he should have asked himself, here he was not going to be fighting an Double D, thus his chance was reduced.
Mide brought out his Air Slasher and waved it.
Queenite scoffed at the blade and moved her head bavkward.
"That blade will do less,  am sure Rush, has already given his brother, stronger gears" She said and summouned out a blue shiny sheild
"This all I can offer, a Metal Rhino shield, take, it looks heavy but it is as light as air and strong as well"
Tasha stepped forward and also summouned out her Corrosion Metal Gun
"Here, this takes five seconds to fully power up, a shot and that bastard is done for" She said and handed it over.
Rush stared into Queenite's eyed and shaked his head, in disapproval, the bell signaling the fight, rang, and both contenders entered into the ring.

The bell rang again signalling tye fight should commence.
Lyta immediately summouned his flaming dragon beast soul, which came out furiously and splited fire at Mide.
Mide went into a squaring position, having one knee on the ground, he folded his hand above his head and summouned the Rhino metal shield and also his metal beetle clothing shield, the fire came at him with much heat, which drained him of his strength, quickly he channeled his Darkwar, and increased his stamina time.
Lyta on the other hand began to grow weak, as he was over using the soul beast, and any longer use of it, could result in his body tearing apart.
"That's impossible" Queenite said with doubt in her mind.
"No one could survive that kind of heat, seems we underestimated him" Tasha said and her heart was glad
Lyta quickly summouned his beast soul before he would tear apart and staggered to the ground, feeling weak.
Mide body was already steaming and was as red as coal, he stood up and summouned out his Air Slasher on one hand and the corrosion metal gun on the other hand. He got closer to Lyta and kicked him on the chest, making him fall to the ground. On second thought Mide bent down and opened the Metal Gear box of Lyta's metal weapon, and dipped his hand in, first he brought out a fire ball and swallowed it.
"Beast soul of fiery dragon gained, no metal point received, not metal geno gained " the voice said within Mide.
He dipped his hand in again and brought out a blue ball and swallowed it.
"Level 10 upgrade on all gears" the voice said again.
Mide stood up and kicked Lyta had in the stomach, making him slid off.
Rush on the other hand was already fuming with anger, his fiery beast soul was gone, he looked at Mide and summouned a huge bazooka from his hands which in return, got the Arrow of God clan alerted.
"Your brother had a deal, and he has to honor it, he leaves Iron Sanctuary tonight, and please make the 5 million naira transaction " Queenite said.
Rush had no option, he did as instructed.
"This 13,we need 5" Mide said and smiled.
"The remaining to make my brother remain in the sanctuary"7
Mide agreed and walked towards where Lyta laid exhausted and bent down towards him.
"Know your opponent, and never take the first move" Mide said and spanked Lyta on the butt and gallantly walked out of the ring.
Chapter 20
Mide was shown his room,  among the Arrow of God Clan, although not large, it was still neatly arranged than his, a bed right in the middle of the room, a lamp, on all four corners of the room, a shelf at the far right and a reading table at the edge of the bed.
"Thank yoj" Mide turned to Tasha.
"I saw something strang when Lyta had you heat up, while you were glowing red, you looked like Double D" Tasha said with a serious look on her face, and stared at Mide.
He smiled and cleared his throat, thinking of what to say, at that moment his thinking denied him access.
Tasha suddenly busted into laughter and winked at Mide.
"I was only teasing you, you can never be like Double D, am going tomorrow to watch his match, and if given the chance, I will tell him how much I love him" Tasha said and threw an orange at Mide and exited the room.
Mide sighed heavily and calmed his mind, while Double D had a match to win tomorrow.

Early the next morning,  a loud bang came at his door, which made him curse angrily.
"Morning Routine, wake up newbie " the husky voice male voice came in from the other side.
Mide groaned lazily and went out, everyone took a position with their bow and arrows, standing about a hundred meter away from the dart board.
Queenite stood at the end of the row and shoited out the orders.
"Give Mide, a level 15 bow " Queenite said and handed Mide the bow herself.
"Shoot" Queenite shouted and everyone aimed for the bull eye, Mide smiled and while others were missing their shot,  he had made the bull eye.
Queenite was surprised at how easy it was for him, she was sure he was not yet at level 8,he didn't have the sign of the level break through in his physique, which made her more surprised and vowed to get answers.
Mide looked towards the right and immediately got carried away by the view he saw. Tasha with her now, with seriousness on her face, which even made her looked hot, the view was pleasant, he didn't know when Queenite walked up to him.
"Everyone dismiss, except Mide". She watched as everyone disperse and stood distance off to see what next will happen.
"I see you love beautiful women" She said with a serious look on her face.
Mide moved his head slightly in disapproval, holding tight to his bow.
"Am I beautiful? " Queenite asked, and still had the same strong look on her face.
"No, you look manly " Mide replied and quickly dodged the slap that came at his face.
"The newbie has challenged me, get him a staff"
Mide stood in awe, at what was really happening really fast, and collected the staff that was given to him.
Queenite, packed her hair tightly and rolled them in one bond, and made a fist, standing meters away from Mide, Mide knew she would be fighting without weapon and threw ghost to the ground.
It was time to go for a little practice, before be went for the main fight, as Double D

Chapter 21

Mide suddenly made his hand stop, quickly before he could hit Queenite on the chest, he grinned and hated the fact that he was holding back, because of the sensitive parts on Queenite's  body.
She smiled and knew what came across his mind and punched him on the stomach, sending him against the ground, Mide coughed hard and did a Chinese getup to his feet. He quickly swayed his head around and headbutt Queenite making he hold tight to her forehead in pain.
She quickly recovered and pointed Two fingers out from her right fist raising one leg up, she tilted forward, sending the fingers at Mide's neck, who quickly caught the fingers in between his two hands, and punched Queenite straight on the jaw.
"AWWWWWWWWEEE" was the murmur that came next from
Queenite felt humiliated and then transformed into her humanbot, making two swords out from both hands.
Mide knew what she wanted, so they could both access their full potential, but he knew he couldn't not transform to Double D, or even use any of Double D's Metal Gear.
Queenite pointed her sword forward, expecting him to transform.
Mide smirked and took the first attack, he jumped into the air and rotated, sending his left leg forward. Queenite quickly slashed her sword into the air and a strong wave of wind, in the pattern she made, sent Mide off.
Mide groaned as he fell on the floor, and channeled his Raven Metal Beast Soul, at least he could know what it worth.
As Queenite neared him, he sent forth the metal Raven which caught Queenite by the shoulder and swooped her into the air.
A loud bang suddenly came from above, as an unforseen force threw Mide with great foce away, it was his beast soul, what ever Queenite did to it, had greatly weaked him.
Queenite returned on a horse with wings and transformed to her normal human form and walked towards  Mide.
"I am not disappointed " She said and walked off.
"See me at noon" She said again and exited.
Tasha, walked up to Mide and helped him up and smiled at him,  helping him dust off the dirt on his body.
"You really did well" She said and straightened his collar
"Thank you"
"while you will be with Mistress. I'll be watching my secret crush, Double D, wrecking off Lin Feng's ass" Tasha said and winked at Mide.
"Lin Feng" Mide repeated the words again.
"Yeah, his supposed opponent died in a hunt so, Lin Feng is Double D's new opponent"
Mide brain suddenly booted to the heroic tales of Lin Feng, he was reported to had kill a Dear Metal Animal with just a fist just one punch, he had fought against 30 machineries and survived without a scratch on his body.
"See you later " Tasha said and ran off, leaving Mide to think about Double D

Chapter 22
An hour before his brawl against Lin Feng would start, Mide went to see Queenite, hoping, what she called him for was just a brief talk
He gently knock on the door and entered, when he heard the order to do so. He saw Queenite, sitting on her bed, it was then Mide realized the setting of the room, was same as his.
"You such a brave one to have leveled up against me, even without your humanbot form" She said and expected a better reaction from Mide, instead of the grumpy look on his face.
"You asked to see me" Mide replied.
"Yes, the entrance exam for Myriad Band, takes place next week and I want you to participate although you have been Choosen, but you still have to go for the exam to register your presence" Queenite said.
Mide on one part was glad, the Myriad band, was like a huge fish pond with different species of fishes, then afterwards each species are seperated to their likes, under the Myriad band was the Green Shadow group, The Iron Fist, Zone lads, Hand of God, and much more, it was an opportunity anybody would die for, since their selection process was though, and here he was, with an automatic selection, while on the other part he was sad and was not likely to take the offer, he still had an underage sister to look after, he was the only one for her.
He looked back Queenite and sighed
"I'll think about it"
"Well seems like you have no option here" Queenite said and dismissed him.

Mide quickly ran out of the camp and headed towards the main sanctuary arena, and turned into Double D and walked into the arena.

Edward the reporter earlier in the day had predicted Double D, to win the match, which made his rating to drastically drop to 3 star rating from 8 star rating. People had thought him mad and senseless, when he strongly broadcaster that Double D would win against Lin Feng, also he was at the verge of lossing his job, while the company had threatened to fire him if Double D lossed, since it would be bad for business.

Double D himself knew what he was going into was a suicide mission, but his ego won't let him see that, he entered into the ring, and stood facing Lin Feng, so the tales he heard were true, Lin Feng had not been seen ever in his humanbot form.
The Man before him was probably in his mid thirties, with his Chinese look,a light eyebrow and a kind of tiny set of eyes.
"I love how you made it to the limelight " Lin Feng said and smiled at Double D.
Double D nodded in return and only hoped he could find a point to hit Lin Feng.
The crowd grew quiet in anticipation, the larger part hoping Double D would survive.
The bell rang signifying the fight should start.

Chapter  23
Mide held tight to his sword, moving round in circles, expecting Lin Feng to take the first attack, both moving in circular motion. After what seemed like minutes of moving in circles, Double D decided to take the first strike.
He moved a step forward and slashed at Lin Feng, still maintain his distance, Lin Feng q6ickly moved sideways, and immediately, Double D, side towards the side, slashing Lin Feng on the arm.
The crowd went up in joyful uproar and cheered in joy.
Lin Feng maintained distance and was surprised at how easily Double D got him.
"You are also familiar with Darkwar" Lin Feng said and for a moment felt impressed.
Double D still held tight to his sword and and continued in circular moving, Lin Feng roared and threw a punch at Double D, who jumped back, avoiding the hit, and used the butt of his sword the hit Lin Feng hand.
The crowd went in another cheer again and began chanting Double D.
Lin Feng, stood in surprise, in all his years of figjt, his opponent were always foolish to show the skill they had, but this lad was wise enough to thread with caution.
He squated and made a fist, making his veins pop out and almost with the speed of light, he rushed at Double D, and gave him a punch in the stomach, the force threw Double D against the net of the fight cell, and his sword fell to the ground before him. Double D fell lifelessly to the ground and once again everyone thought history has repeated itself, one punch which means direct death.
Every where few cold, as the referee made to open the cell and relate the winner, just then Double D raised his arms, and pulled himself up From the ground and grabbed his sword, he stood up and made his body give out a loud crack.

The excitement in everyone's heart knew no bound, especially Edward the reporter.
Lin Feng stood in total surprise, no one had ever survived his punch, Double D raised up his sword and dashed at Lin Feng.
As Double D got closer to Lin Feng, he quickly summouned his Metal Raven soul, which flew him backward,and still in mid air he summouned his fire dragon and made it spit out fire at Lin Feng, and he quickly channeled his Darkwar to his leg, while Lin Feng was distracted by the dragon fire, he ran up to him and gave him a powerful slash on his tendon, making Lin Feng fall to the ground.
Lin Feng tried standing up, but fell to the ground again, due to his broken tendon, Double D on the other part fell to the ground, already exhausted by the use of his metal souls, he managed to crawl towards Lin Feng and placed his sword on his neck.
"Give up" He said and moved the sword closer to Lin Feng's throat.
"I yield" Lin Feng said and made himself tumble to the ground.
Chapter 24
Mide entered into his room, clinching tight to his stomach where Lin Feng had Gabe him the punch, he rolled on his bed and began to vomit blood out from his mouth, his eyes were gradually growing weak, as his strength failed his, he tried channeling the Darkwar into his body, but it was useless, as he didn't have the strength to do it. He let out a loud groan and coughed out blood, while rolling on his stomach.
A knock came at his door, after some minutes it came again, he tried speaking up, but he seemed to had lossed his voice.

Tasha returned back to her room, and slumped on her bed, since Mide was not answering, but yet she needed someone to talk with and it was Mide so he could feel how Double D her hero knocked out the all powerful Lin Feng. She looked at her watch and discovered it was just 6 in the evening, no normal person would see at that hour and checking around, Mide was no where to be found round the camp.
She stood up and decided to go back and knock and if h wasn't answering, she would break down his door and check what he had in his room
She knocked again, and bent the knob of the door and found it was closed, she gently knelt down to pick the lock and got access to the door.
Entering the room, she was surprised at the figure that laid on the ground and ran up to it.
Who she saw wasn't Mide but Double D lying lifeless on the ground. She knelt bar the body and looked closely at it, the Metal Gear was similar to Double D, while the face she saw was Mide's.
She quickly locked the door and carried his lifeless body back to the bed, after she removed the bed spread that was filled with blood.
She noticed he was breathing but was faint, she hurriedly got a bowl of water, and steamed it, pulled off Mide's metal gears and saw a huge black fist mark on his stomach, and gently began to massage it with the towel she dipped into the hot water.
After about an hour, she felt Mide's body temperature gradually returning back to normal.
"After all this while Double D was right in front of us all" She muttered to herself and applied a balm on his body and made him drink from a concotion she made.

Chapter 25
Mide opened his eyes slightly and saw himself positioned on the bed, a band aid around his waist, a cup in the table, a loud bang came at the door, signifying the morning drill, but he felt too weak to stand up.
"Where is Mide? " Queenite asked seeing that his space was empty.
"He won't be awake till around 9 " Tasha replied and aimed her bow and continued " I dropped a sleeping metal into his drink yesterday night" Tasha replied and was relieved Queenite fell for the trick.

Mide relaxed himself and began to channel the Darkwar into his body, as he gradually began to gain strength. After what seemed like hours, he opened his eyes and saw Tasha sitting on the table.
"You're awake " She said and stood up
Mide gulped and looked out through the window.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me, and thank your stars I came in on time"
Mide squeezed his mouth and made a funny look befire speaking.
"What secret"
Tasha smiled and smiled at how silly he was
"I know you are Double D, Ahh, it's no longer fun talking about Double D, in your presence, since Mide is him and you are him" Tasha said and handed him the cup of the table
Mide knew his cover was blown, nothing he could say would convince her, and thankfully she was on time. He looked at the band aid and unwrapped it, revealing a black fist mark on his stomach.
"It has reduced greatly, how did you do it" Tasha asked and waked closer and sat beside him,  by the edge of the bed.
Queenite suddenly came into the room, making Tasha jumped to her feet, and Mide yucky hid the band aid.
"I heard what Tasha did to you, it's good you are awake, now to business, your fitness examine for the Myriad Band, is today, it was soon that we expected, you have to dress up and prepare, Tasha would go with you"
After her words, Queenite walked out of the room, and Mide looked at Tasha and smiled.
"Thank you"

Mide and Tasha came out of the Sanctuary back to the real world, using the Public Transfer Machine, he led her into the cable bus that led to his house and decided to go online and check who he could play with in the Swiftness game. The screen popped up and showed the username Wonuolaismygirlfriend.
Tasha saw it and moved closer to him.
"Who owns that username so you are the one who had beat the leaderboard" She said and fixed her eyes on the username.
"The game is too simple" He said and surfed through his message and the Marge number of competition he got.
Tasha wondered at the kind if username he was using and what made him used it, well she considered it just a username and sighed inwardly and gently placed her head on Mide's shoulder.

Mide alighted the cable bus first and helped Tasha down, the street was not like where she grew up, which was as silent as grave yard, Mide's city was a rough and bubbling one, with different kind-of people on the street.
Mide held her close, pulling her away from a skate border that rode recklessly passed her.
"You look surprised" Mide said and dropped a coin into he bowl of he deadlocked man that played the guitar before them and walked on.
"Your city is lively, th3 paintings on the walls, the ruggedness, it's too lively" Tasha commented and smiled.
Mide took a right corner, and passed in between a house which led them to another street.
"Mide" a boy suddenly shouted from afar and ran up to him
Mide bent down towards him and smiled at him.
"Some masked men, came to your house and set it ablaze" the boy said and pointed towards Mide's house.

Mide took to his heel,  getting to his house, only to see his house totally razed down, burnt BEYOUND recognition, he fell to his knees and let out a loud cry.
Tasha, tried controlling the tears in her eyes and walked closer to the burnt house and picked up something from the ground, and walked back to Mide.
"It's the Golden Clan" Tasha said and threw the yellow shiny ball at Mide. Mide looked up at her and his eyes were all swollen up, he grabbed the ball and clinched tight to it.
"They have your sister, I'll contact Queenite, we'll get back to them"
Mide dropsy and wiped off his tears and sniffed hard.
"They better not do anything to Dawn, or their entire clan would be history "

Chapter 26
Throughout the journey till they got to the exam screening venue, Mide kept quiet all through, looking point blank and mostly out of clue on what to do next, Tasha knew better to keep quiet, and let him reason in peace.

They were ushered into the hall where the screening would take place, Mide found two empty seats at the second to the last row, and ushered Tasha in and sat on the second one.
Names were called according to the list with the host,  Damian Star, the name came from the speaker, a short ruddy boy, stood from his seat and walked forward.
The host moved aside and ushered him into the ring, which was laid with a blue material.
"You have ten seconds to defeat your opponent"
Another boy came in from the dark part of the hall, wearing a dark kung-fu outfit and entered into the ring.
Mide watched with keen interest, happy at the kind of fitness test, he would be getting, one after the other, everyone went forward against different opponent to take down in ten seconds.

Tasha's name came from the speaker and she sighed and quickly walked towards the ring.  Her opponent, looked weak compared to her which made her a bit confident, to her outpost surprise, she was floored in the fifth second, she quickly got to her feet and launcher a kick at her opponent, making him tumble out of the ring.
The bell rang and she went out of the ring, and took her seat beside Mide. After seven more names, Mide's name came next.
He walked towards the ring and climbed in, facing his opponent, who was much built than him, immediately the bell rang,  Mide launched the first attack, with a loud shout, he smacked his fist against his opponent jaw, sending him against the pillar of the ring, breaking it into two. Mide shouted again with rage, he jumped on his opponent, sitting on him and began giving him series of punch in the face, the face he saw was no longer that of his opponent, but that of Rush.
Tasha stood to her feet and placed her hand, on her mouth, he is going to kill him, she said and felt relieved as three hefty men, ran into the ring.
One of the hefty men, grabbed Mide's right arm from behind, which didn't stop Mide as he flinged him with one swift swing, making him crash against another, the last of them also tried grabbing Mide, but suddenly saw himself flying off.
Another set of hefty men ran into the ring, with electric taser in their hand, from distance they launched it at Mide, making him collapse to the floor.
The boy he fought with was quickly rushed out of the ring, and quickly the medic began attending to him, as blood filled all his face, his swollen flesh already covering his eyes.

Chapter 27
Queenite watched Mide, while looking through the glass, that made a wall between her and the interrogation room, he was in, She watched with pity, as he wriggled himself in one corner of the room.
She turned to Tasha and heaved a sigh before looking back at the lady beside her.
"He his slowly loosing his mind, the only way to bring him back, is if we find his sister " Tasha said and placed her hand on the glass frame, looking at Mide.
"If not that you recommended him personally for the selection process, I would've nullified his entry" The lady some softly.
Queenite nodded her head and walked towards the door.
"Their semester starts in two weeks time, make sure he is back to his mind" The lady said and walked out of the room and stopped at the exit.
"And you will be covering the boy he beat so badly, you will pay for every single hospital bill" The lady said and finally walked out.

Getting back to Iron Sanctuary, Queenite and Tasha went straight to the Golden Clan Territory and slapped the guard that tried preventing her from entering into the camp on the face.

Rush immediately stopped the training session he was having with his brother and paid attention to Queenite who walked angrily towards him and gave him a resounding slap. The Golden clan out of anger pulled out their artillery out from the arms, and pointed at Queenite.
"You attacked that poor boy home and razed down his house" Queenite said with anger in her eyes.
"I don't know anything about this" Rush said looking confused, the allegation before him looked strange.
Tasha dipped her hand into her pocket and threw the Yellow ball at him.
"How do you explain that? " Tasha asked and frowned.
For a moment Rush was still, this was their Clan Symbol,  and on normal standard, it had no reason to go out from the clan, unless someone of a high rank used it to show his supremacy.
"This belongs to us, but I still won't understand " Rush said with an innocent gesture.
Queenite got more irritated, and hated the fact that he denied it.
"Someone or probably, you gave the order to your men, to destroy Mide's home, is that how low you've gone, to plan a revenge scheme against an innocent boy, who defended himself against your lifeless brother? " Queenite asked, shouting at the top of her voice.
"We've come for his sister, where is she, hand her over and we'll begone" Queenite said this time with a low tone.
"She's dead" Lyta's voice suddenly came from behind his brother "I planned the attack and so what, he humiliated a clan, I defended my name, and for the record, the girl attacked first, with a pistol in her hand, and I had to defend myself".
Everybody, suddenly went dead silent, each looking from person to another, trying harder be sure their ears were playing prank on them.
"Come again" Tasha asked hoping he was only joking.
"I killed her in an attempt to defend myself" Lyta said again, this time slavery slowly.

Chapter 28
Queenite sat directly in front of Rush, seperated by the round, furnished table, while Tasha stood at her back.
Rush leaned his back fully in the chair, not having any idea what to do, especially now when Tasha had told them, Mide was a friend to Double D.
"What do we do, we know what Mide can do, and worst what his friend Double D I'd capable of" Tasha said, making sure they got her message right.
Rush heaved and folded his arm together.
"I know an offender has to pay for his crime, bit this person in question is my only brother " Rush said calmly.
"Damn" Tasha shouted "And he killed the only family Mide has left, his mother died of cancer, his father was killed by robbers, you are literally dragging this boy to hell, while he is alive"
Rush stood up and stared at Tasha
"Above all, we follow standards, we don't leave a brother to suffer, come for him if you can" Rush said and walked out of the room.
"were you serious when you said, he is a friend to Double D? " Queenite asked
"Nope, I only wanted to make him scared" Tasha replied and followed behind Queenite.

Getting back to their camp, Queenite and Tasha went straight to Mide's room and knocked on the door, after minutes of knocking without any reply, Tasha held Queenite's hand heaved.
"Double D has a matched with Son of Thunder, he might has gone to watch the match, maybe to cool himself off" Tasha replied and ran away to the arena.

Edward had been having a lot of recognition for his predictions, and a lot of job offer, which had made his job batch to increase to a 5 star full rating. This time also he had predicted a win for Double D, early as usual, he was already seated in the first front row of the arena seat.

Son of Thunder, as he was popularly called, also had a record of possessing only thunder beast souls, a thunder whip, a thunder sword, a thunder shield, a thunder everything, although his records were not as solid has Lin Feng, he still possessed a threat.
The match was to be a Dual fight, immediately after the first fight, the winners would proceed to a new opponent.

A loud uproar came from the crowd as they saw Double D in the distance, walking towards the cell.
Entering into the cell, he withdrew his air slasher and swayed it at Son of God, who was having two long thunder whips in his hand, in the cell directly opposite them were another contenders, the one strike man versus Armor Tank.
Everyone knew, the one strike man already had a sure Victory, since his history held no loss, and almost seventy percent of his fight, he always won his opponent with one slash of the sword, splitting them into halves.

Double D looked at One Strike Man and back to his opponent, seeing the One Strike Man smiled at Double D and gave him a thumbs down.

Immediately the bell rang, One strike man, took the first attack, with a well structured pose, he ran and slid under Armor Tank and splited him into half.
Lost in thought, Son of Thunder quickly grabbed the opportunity and gave Double D a powerful lash, sending him hard against the cell wall, he flipped the whip again and it held tight to Double D's leg, and dragged him forward, and flipped him over, and hard the other whip to slash Double D on the back.

Tasha from where she sat, involuntarily stood up and had her fingers in her mouth, with tears dropping down from her eyes, as Son of Thunder, whipped the hell out of him.
"Get up"
Someone angrily tapped her from behind
"Please seat down, if you are no longer interested you can walk off" The boy said angrily.
Another lash came at Double D, resulting in a spark of tiny flames,  Double D groaned as tears dropped from his eyes, he turned his head to look at Son of Thunder and saw Rush's face on his opponent.  He groaned and as another whip came at him, he held it tightly, and stood up
Son of Thunder did all he could to retriev his whip from Double D's grip,mustering all his strength. Double D, held tight to the whip with both hands and with one pull, he used the whip in pulling, Son of God towards him and still in the air, Double D dived up above Son of thunder and did a flip, and smacked Son of God on the stomach, with his leg.
The force sent Son of thunder to the ground with a loud thud, Double D landed beside Son of Thunder and pulled him up, and groaned at him, all he saw was Rush face, he pushed him towards the cell wall, and banged his face hard, he grabbed his head and slammed it to the ground, he held son of thunder on the leg and rolled Him around before flinging him against the wall.
Son of Thunder groaned loudly, and spitted blood from his mouth. Double D walked up to him and brought out his air slasher and slashed him on the leg, he returned it and dipped his hand into the wound, and squeezed it, making Son of Thunder shout in agony.

The audience went quiet at the strange behaviour Double D was possessing, like he was possessed.
The referee hurried into the cell and blew his whistle, dragging Double D off.
"Due to the immoral act from Double D, the committee has Disqualified him from this competition, temporary,the fight will be postponed, and the committee has agreed to hear petitions from who ever decides to defend Double D in court next week, and if non, we shall proceed to declare the winner " The voice came from the speaker in the arena.

Double D shouted in agony, with his veins shooting out from his neck. Tasha hurried down from where she sat and ran up to Double D, she knelt beside him and placed her hands on his face and leaned her head against his.
"Be strong for us" She said and helped him to his feet.

Chapter 29
Mide held tight to Tasha's hand, when they got to the clan ground, he tried freeing himself but, Tasha held tight to him and walked him directly to Queenite's chamber.
Queenite turned around and for a while stared at their hands that was locked into each other, She smiled and looked at Mide and signalled him to sit on the chair.
"I already talked to Rush, they did it" Queenite said, while looking out through the window.
"What about Dawn? " Mide asked calmly, but deep within him, he had already imagined Rush head rolling on the ground.
Queenite was caught unaware by the question and turned around, and saw Tasha staring at her and looked away.
"Hmm, there is a condition attached to that if we can get her back" Queenite said and looked at Tasha.
"We have to well him the truth" Tasha said out looking down at the ground.
Mide knew something was wrong, and stood up, he knew something terrible had happened, but he had not imagined his sister dying.
Queenite message device bleeped up, and she pressed a button on her wrist and made the message pop up.
"Your names both came out, meaning you both have to resume next tomorrow at the Myriad School" She said, and looked at Mide.
"What about Dawn? " Mide asked with tears in his eyes.
"Lyta killed her" Tasha responded and got an angry look from Queenite.
Mide gulped hard, and looked at Queenite hoping the information what Tasha said was wrong, he got heart broken when Queenite quickly looked away, as he stared at her. He weakly sat down on the ground, and rested on the bed stand, sobbing, he looked up again and clinched his lips, he stood up and wiped his eyes.
"Her body, where is it? " he asked with his eyes all swollen up.
Queenite stood speechless and looked back at Tasha.

Mide from distance,  brought out his bow of fire and shot at the iron gate of the Golden clan, sending it off from its frame, as he entered into their territory, the first golden clan member that attacked him, he quickly grabbed his arm, and placed his head in between the bow and pulled the string, making his head roll to the ground.
He saw Lyta from afar and shot an arrow at him. Rush quickly dived befire his brother and shielded the arrow off, breaking his shield into pieces.
"Where is her body? " Mide asked.
Queenite and Tasha ran up to him and stood on both sides.
"Seems it got burnt with the house" Lyta replied shouting at the top of his voice.
Queenite stepped forward and spoke.
"Mide let's take this through the appropriate channel, we'll report to the Disciplinary Council "

The council was gathered immediately,  the council had three judges, sitting at podium, while The Arrow of God clan was seated by the left and the Golden Clan by the right.
After much of question and answer the judge funny took their stand.
"Without any doubt, Lyta has been found guilty, by the power vested in the council, we have decided Mide should give the judgement he so wishes to his accuser" the man seated in the center said.
Mide looked at Tasha and then next to Queenite before facing Rush and his brother.
CHAPTER 30
Mide looked and smiled.
"Let him remain in the sanctuary, he shall live freely" Mide said.
Queenite went into shock and pinched Mide on the leg, and looked at Tasha with a confused look.
Rush on the other hand, knew Mide had given his brother a sentence to a living hell, he knew what Mide did was brutal than anything else.

Queenite hit her hand againsthe wall of her room angrily, Mide was her only chance to finally get rid of the Golden Clan, and there, he had made a silly statement, he must be foolish.

Rush looked towards the sky and, sighed then looked back at Lyta, ran his eyes through him and spoke.
"We underestimate Mide, what he did at the council is an act of war, strike your enemy with agony, he will hunt you and make sure, life becomes unbearable for you, he will make you useless while still alive, you have to be stronger"
Lyta smiled and looked at his brother and his smiled changed into a frown.
"Even you too doubt me" he replied
Rush knew his brother was in no way match for Mide, it wasn't even possible he would win Mide one out of ten matches.
"Everyone knows you can beat him, and I fear for our clan, Mide will hunt is down one after another, and am afraid if we don't level up, we might be useless" Rush replied and walked off.

Mide stood at the top of the hill that camped the clan ground, and pointed his air slasher towards the sun.
"You just made a living hell for the Golden Clan"
Tasha said behind him and walked up to him.
"They won't know what hit them, until they are dow" Mide replied and brought down his sword.
"Will you go after them as Mide or Double D? "
"Both"

Chapter 31
Queenite stood at the end of the line and shouted the orders to her students, aiming for the bull her, she sighted Mide aiming for the mark and walked towards.
"Your aim is weak" She shouted and whipped Mide on the arm.
Mide withdrew the bow string and turned to her, with a painful look on his face.
"Give him a thousand arrows" She ordered and dismissed all others.
She looked at Mide with a mixed feeling of pity and hatred. But She had to teach him a bitter lesson for letting go of her only chance at her enemy.
"Aim the bull eye for all one thousand dart board" She said and walked distance away.

Back at the Competition Committee Board, the seventeen organisers, sat down in a panel form and looked at the case file before them.
"Double D versus the Public" One of them read out and stared at the gathering of twenty people.
"Let the defending lawyer for Double D step forward"

Tasha quickly ran back to the camp ground and ran up to Mide who was sweating profusely, aiming at the dart boards.
"Mide" She shouted and stopped in seeing Queenite.
A girl walked up to her and placed her hand on her shoulder.
"Master, gave him the punishment of hiring all 1000 targets,  and he has hit 800 so far, and he didn't wear out, I wonder what skill he uses, I am beginning to love him" YHE girl said with a lustful look on her eyes.
Tasha looked at the girl and a wave of jealousy hit her, Shunamite was truly a beauty, and she hated the fact for the first time that someone was beautiful than she was.
"Your business" She said and walked towards Mide ignoring Queenite's stare at her.
"Double D presence is required at the Competition Committee Board" She whispered to him.
"Am under punishment, I still have 180 More to go " Mide replied, while straining he could feel his arms already wearing out, if not for the help of his darkwar skill, he would probably have collapsed long ago.

Tasha grabbed off the bow from his hand and pulled him by the hand and walked towards Queenite.
"Mom, am sorry I have to drag him off, but I desperately need his help, hunting, and he has what I need, please" Tasha said and smiled at Queenite.
Mide did nothing but stared from each one of them to another, did Tasha just called Queenite Mom, well stranger things happens.
Queenite smirked Her face and nodded in approval.

Distance away, when they were sure out of eye shot he transformed into Double D and smiled at Tasha.
"You called Queenite, Mom" Double D said looking ahead.
"Yes, she's my mom, everyone knows, well except you and now you know also"She said, answering Double D with enough calmness.
"The other day, the online swiftness game, your username" She said, giving Double D enough clue what she meant.
Double D, stopped and looked closely at her.
"She's the last order leader of the green shadow group, and she promised to be my girlfriend if I win her in the swiftness game, although it's childish, I don't have anything for her" Double replied and summouned his Raven Metal Mount.
"I have my eyes on someone else" Double D said and climbed on the Raven Mount and pulled Tasha up, at his back.
"And who is the lucky lady let's know her" Tasha said and held Double D tight by the waist.
"Hold me tight" Double D said and in one swift leap, the Raven soared in the sky.

The gathering onbthis committed Board went silent, when no one stood up to defend Double D, the leader of the committee board, raised his hand up, and grabbed a deal by his right.
"In the absence of any defendant for Double D, we hereby rule out Double D from the com.... " He was about finalising his statement, just then a man ran in, with a briefcase on his hand, sweating hard.
"My the board pardon me for lateness,  I am Double D's lawyer " the Man said and quickly took is seat.
"Where is Double D? " The board asked with a stern voice.
"He is here" Tasha answered from the entrance, and held Double D by the arm, and walked with him to his seat and sat behind him.
"Let the hearing commence "

Chapter 31
